On January 8, 2025, Crown Princess Leonor of Spain embarked on the naval training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano at the Port of Cádiz to begin her practical maritime training as part of her military education. The training cruise will commence on January 11, 2025, and conclude in July in New York.
Crown Princess Leonor, the future queen of Spain, is currently in the second year of her three-year military training program. Princess Leonor spent the past year training with the Spanish Army, and after her year-long stint with the Spanish Navy, she will complete her final year with the Spanish Air Force. Princess Leonor, who will remain on board the ship until Saturday, will attend a launch event that will also be attended by her parents.
It’s inspiring to see Crown Princess Leonor take such a hands-on approach to her military training. Her dedication and commitment to her future role as queen are truly impressive. This marks an exciting chapter in her journey. The support from her parents will undoubtedly make this experience even more meaningful. Wishing her all the best on this remarkable voyage!
ReplyDeleteA nice dress uniform. She looks very polished. Can anyone explain what the gold knot braid on her upper sleeve represents?
ReplyDeleteIl faut reconnaître que Leonor porte à merveille l'uniforme militaire mais je la préfère quand même de couleur blanche !
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of buttons on those uniforms. Wow.
ReplyDeleteFrom all the royal females who are serving their country she is the one who is mostly photographed in gala uniform.
ReplyDeleteBecause Leonor is the only royal female doing 3 years in the different branches of the army. It means that in official days like today, she must wear the uniform. The only times we see her in civilian clothing is in civilian official engagements.
DeleteI have to say,Lenor is a very impressive young lady. I look at her and Elisabeth of Belgium and Ingrid of Norway, all have/are putting in the service with the armed services! As heirs to the throne it’s admirable to see them doing it. Being a Crown Princess it’s not all about the tiaras and jewels.
ReplyDeleteI understand Christian of Denmark will also be joining a branch of the army this year. Bravo and best of luck to them all.
Lowri.
She looks a lot like her father. She is pretty.
ReplyDelete-Astrid.
Hmmm. Okay ....
DeleteI guess we're seeing something different.
DeleteShe reminds me so much of her father. She is highly impressive. She has been brought up beautifully.
