Crown Princess Leonor of Spain arrived in Las Palmas in the Canary Islands aboard the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano after a nearly two-week-long sea voyage. The Princess attended an official luncheon with local authorities from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The Royal Household of Spain shared a photograph of Princess Leonor with the heads of the naval training ship and local dignitaries.

The voyage aboard the Juan Sebastián de Elcano will last six months, visiting eight countries across several continents. Stops include Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, followed by ports in Brazil, Chile, Peru, Panama, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and the United States.

    The girls’ hats look excellent but does anyone know the purpose of the brim placed where looking to see is impeded? The boys brims don’t seem to do the same. I’d say style over practicality, but that’s rarely done in the military.

    She looks so polished in her uniform. I did notice that her pants are a tad on the short side compared to the others.

      Is the hat worn low so no matter where she looks or how she turns her head her eyes are shaded ????

  5. Leonor porte à merveille son uniforme ; même si le style de son chapeau est différent de celui de ses camarades masculins, je trouve qu'il apporte une petite note féminine même s'il n'est pas assez pratique pour bien voir !
