The girls’ hats look excellent but does anyone know the purpose of the brim placed where looking to see is impeded? The boys brims don’t seem to do the same. I’d say style over practicality, but that’s rarely done in the military.

She looks so polished in her uniform. I did notice that her pants are a tad on the short side compared to the others.

You are right. Princess Leonor's pants do NOT pucker at the ankles like everyone else's do. Neater look.

I wonder how she can see properly with the position of her hat. She is a sweet girl.

I think the hat should cover the bun.

Is the hat worn low so no matter where she looks or how she turns her head her eyes are shaded ????

The hats for our Military women don't cover their buns either.

In Spain, the hats for women in the military don't typically cover the bun, as part of tradition. It’s a distinctive style choice that differentiates from other countries where the hat might sit lower. So, it’s probably more about keeping in line with Spanish customs while still maintaining a modern look for Princess Leonor.

In other countries the hats for women in the military don't cover the bun either, but the hats and especially the brims are less big than in Spain.

  5. Leonor porte à merveille son uniforme ; même si le style de son chapeau est différent de celui de ses camarades masculins, je trouve qu'il apporte une petite note féminine même s'il n'est pas assez pratique pour bien voir !
