On January 16, 2025, Princess Anne visited the charity Wings for Warriors in Cheltenham. Located at the Gloucestershire Airport Training Facility in Cheltenham, the organisation Wings for Warriors trains wounded or unwell servicemen and veterans to become professional pilots. The Princess also officially opened a new AI facility, designed to train firefighters at the Fire Service College (FSC).
Fascinating initiative for her to support. I think Princess Anne can teach us all something about how to wear stylish scarves and aptly placed broaches!
ReplyDeleteI am not interested in copying Princess Anne's style. Modern women are styling their scarves/shawls differently. Brooches are worn less and certainly not like she does, not even by queens and other princesses. I am 3 years older than Princess Anne.
DeleteAnon 15:48: Royal ladies are not fashion forward icons for the latest hype, so a royal fashion blog is maybe not quite the place for inspiration or copy someone's style, in my opinion. They all have their own style, the "fashion personality" shines through, and for me at least, recognizing it is fun for me. I would not wear my scarf or shawl this way either - but I recognize Anne in how she dresses and if she does not follow fashion, then - yes, it is Anne, go girl! exactly how you like it.

DeleteSome Royal ladies are fashion forward and sometimes I copy styling ideas from them, but sorry not from Princess Anne. Maybe Anon. 9:29 likes Princess Anne's style but to me the princess cannot teach me anything about how to style my outfits. Anon. 15:48
I very much prefer my style and my outfits, even on how to wear a scarf.
DeleteI love the 4th photo with the naughty look !! She looks great in red !!
ReplyDeleteYes!
DeleteYes!
DeleteCe rouge coquelicot va superbement bien à la princesse surtout qu'elle a su le combiner avec du bleu-marine ou du tartan !
ReplyDeleteWow, this is some great Princess Ann style! She looks great!
ReplyDeleteLike this jacket and skirt combo. Less sure about the boots! The first photo is great
ReplyDeleteAnnieM
I agree with you about the jacket and the skirt. I would prefer the boots without the tassels and Princess Anne needs a new hair style.mjt
DeleteAgree the tassels on the boots are not for me. Very much the Princess Anne signature style
DeleteIs it only me, or does Princess Anne laugh and smile more often than in earlier years? It makes such a difference, because she smiles/laughs very spontaneously,, it is not a cheese! smile. The red jacket is very good on her and ladies of a certain age profit additionally from a beautiful scarf around her not-surgically-enhanced neck. Those tassels are a laughing stock, but well, it is Anne.
ReplyDeleteI must say the Pss really looks great today.

Anne needs a stylist!
ReplyDeleteWhat a dreadful comment! The Princess Royal is a lady who favors classical, traditional clothes. She was raised this is the way a lady dresses--I rather doubt the Princess is going to change her ideas about fashion now. Janet
DeleteNah, she really doesn’t. She’s a happy hardworking older lady who has her own style and always appears clean and exceptionally neat and event-appropriate. She is popular, successful and appears to be a cheerful person. Why would that wonderful combination require a stylist ?!
Delete@ Anon. 06:49 & 07:59
DeleteThe way a lady dresses ? I prefer the way the old European Queens and Princesses dress, or are they not Ladies ? Princess Benedicte, Queen Sonia, Queen Sylvia, Queen Sofia, former Queen Anne-Marie.... I bet they do not have stylists either.
Wonder if she dyes her hair at all?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Maggie-Thatcher-Style, doesn't it.

At least Maggie Thatcher didn't wear clothes that were 20 years and older and she looked always elegant.
DeleteI really love this red jacket! The Princess Royal looks marvelous in it and love how she has styled this time out (I think Princess Anne loves this jacket too). It's paired beautifully with her black pleated skirt and her boots. Again, she has added a wonderful silk scarf--a touch of elegance as well as a bit of added warmth.
