On January 9, 2025, Princess Anne attended the 2025 Oxford Farming Conference held at Oxford University. Princess Anne also met delegates from the conference. The Oxford Conference is one of Princess Anne's annual engagements. She is the honorary president of the Oxford Farming Conference. The first farming conference was held in Oxford in 1936. At the event, Princess Anne wore a green emerald jacket from Cotswold Collections.
The 2025 Oxford Farming Conference aims to explore how current and future farming policies can provide new opportunities for farmers, while also addressing issues affecting them, hosting debates, and offering networking opportunities.

Lovely colour on the princess. I do wish she would do something with her hair. I know she prefers a no nonsense, no fuss hair do but she is representing the monarchy. I love her no makeup only lipstick look, now just fix the hair.

DeleteAgree about her hair, a new style is long overdue.

It cannot be really overdue if she decided about 40 years ago that she wants to stick to it (like her mother). Part of it could be her difficult hair structure - in order to have it nicer, it would need a lot of manipulation and maybe she just hates to spend time with that. Considering what she likes to spend time with, a respectable decision.
DeleteI think that Princess Anne’s hair is very much like Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden’s: abundant, wiry and tough to style, hence the un-fussy way they choose to wear it, seldom deviating from that basic look. We all love it when Victoria decides to wear her hair long for a special occasion, but that is hardly an option for Anne at 74. As far as what would be a more attractive option, I really can’t picture her in a hairstyle that would suit her face better than this one. Maybe I lack imagination :-).
DeleteIt's true that Princess Anne has always favored a practical and straightforward style, and her no-fuss approach reflects her personality. Her hair may not follow the latest trends, but it's part of her signature, no-nonsense look. While some may prefer a more polished hairstyle for royal duties, it’s also important to appreciate how she prioritizes functionality over fashion.
DeleteCette veste verte pied-de-poule sied à ravir à la princesse Anne ; j'aime bien ses boucles d'oreilles dans le même style que sa broche !
ReplyDeleteAgree !!
DeleteShe does not look a day older than, let's say, me (same age :-)) - or all the other older ladies in our age without surgery and Botox etc. Celebrities with totally modified physiognomy everywhere change our view of how a woman over 60 really looks like. Yes, Anne could look younger but why should she want it? Result: "She looks older than she is" - I must say, quite bitter for all of us in her age.
DeleteAnne is still working and she is over 90!
ReplyDeleteCheck your numbers :-))
DeletePrincess Anne is 74 years old NOT 90
DeleteAva
The late Queen was 96 when she passed, how is Ann over 90.🤭
Delete@ Ava
DeleteI think anonymous 18:53 said it because Anne looks older than her real age. Now that she has a beautiful jacket which is not old like her other clothes, she should do something with her hair and use less red lipstick but put make-up on her face to look a bit healthier. Also her eyes need a bit of make-up. She could look much better with a bit of effort.
Maybe she looks older but far from being 90. Lets not exaggerate.

I love and admire women in the public eye who allow themselves to age naturally. We do not need to cover ourselves to look younger! - nor to change our faces/hair with procedures and chemicals to look younger. Personal decisions of course, but I so admire those with the courage to just be themselves!
DeleteOf course Anon13:21 why to look better when you can look "natural" lol

The Princess Royal looks so elegant! I love her jacket--the green looks marvelous on her. The addition of the silk scarf is a chic touch.

Per la prima volta vedo Anna indossare una bella giacca, chissà quanto durerà.
ReplyDeleteRossella 🖤
This green jacket is lovely, she looks great. It looks to be a silk scarf tucked in, the brooch adding interest quite attractive piece. Possibly an emerald stone in the middle, nice! She is a real asset, mostly flying under the radar with little fuss and fan fare, and has been doing it this way for many years as is her style, just think she is fabulous! So down to earth and natural.
ReplyDeleteReally nice jacket in a great colour. Good to see her
ReplyDeleteAnnieM
Really nice jacket. Is it, maybe, even new? Anyway, good colours and admirable Anne.
ReplyDeletePrincess Anne does not look older, she simply looks her age. She seems to use camera-friendly foundation. What she needs is some rouge and perhaps mascara.
ReplyDeleteWhat she definitely needs is a proper hairdo. When you look at old photos, you can see that her unruly hair can be tamed, but you need more than 10 minutes. All this combined with the exaggerated frugal appearance is very difficult to stomach, and she is a very public figure, paid by the British tax payers. I am NOT shaming her, I am trying to be realistic.

Maybe the taxpayers are happy she doesn’t overspend on clothing, hair and make up. She could look better but it looks like she doesn’t care. Her choice and let’s respect that!
DeleteThat is one of the things I always admired the Princess Royal for, that she is a "no fuss"-woman and does not mind what others think about it.
