On January 31, 2025, Japan's Crown Prince Akishino, Crown Princess Kiko, and their second daughter, Princess Kako, visited the 73rd Kanto Tokai Flower Exhibition at Sunshine City in Tokyo's Toshima Ward. About 2,500 flowers, such as roses and chrysanthemums, grown by producers in 11 prefectures and the Tokyo area are on display. The event is hosted by the local governments of the Kanto and Tokai regions, together with related organizations.
The maybe-too-large jacket is back for Princess Kako, but her overall look works pretty well with her brown turtle neck. Her earrings compliment her outfit so well, and so does her haircut. Still, Princess Kiko is the winner here I think for elegance. Her soft grey ensemble is a hit with its clear lines, neat zipper, and printed top.

Well said. Agree with you.
ReplyDeleteIt is oversize but I amire how perfectly this oversize was made. Sleeves not too long, jacket itself is not too long, nothing is left to chance by being just big, everything is properly proportioned. Very pretty and at the same time, one step out of tradition, but preserving what is good in it. Lovely.
Kako is always adorable, but this outfit doesn't look good on her. The color and fit are wrong. On the other hand, her mother's outfit looks really good. Modern, elegant and sober without being boring. I would swap looks between mother and daughter.
ReplyDeleteCrown Princess Kiko's pantsuit I like very much ... classy and stylish ...
