On January 26, 2025, Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the IHF 2025 Men’s Handball World Championship match between Norway and Sweden, held at Unity Arena in Fornebu. Upon her arrival, the Crown Princess was welcomed by Geir Kåre Lio, President of the Handball Federation, and Erik Langerud, its Secretary-General. Norway secured a 29-24 victory against Sweden in the IHF Men’s World Championship.

      Do you realize what you are saying ? It must be very painful for her all the bad things that are coming out in the news about her eldest son. She must also think at her position as a CP. On top of all her health problems she has these troubles too.
      Who are you to judge her ?

      I think she is behaving in an admirable manner. Emotionally she is probably supporting him behind the scenes. I think she would be criticized if she interfered with the criminal case. Also, I think children have to learn that they are the ones who are rsponsible for their actions and parents should not always bail them out.

      What is she supposed to do? He is a grown man making his own decisions. He has been given access to all the resources to help him. Mom has her own life and obligations which she carries out with dignity, and looks fabulous.

      Can we please stop nonsense like this. Her son has the same problem as millions of people on this planet, and still we have to do our job so do Mette-Marit. Can we stop being so judgmental and can we please start talking about the event and fashion, not gossip and bs. Try being a little empathic and send some good thoughts instead. Just like you expect we would do to you and your family. After all aren't we the adults in the room?
