Crown Princess Leonor Visits Cádiz as Part of Naval Training

Crown Princess Leonor visited the City Hall of Cádiz and was welcomed by Bruno García, the mayor of Cádiz

On January 10, 2025, Crown Princess Leonor of Spain, as is tradition, visited the City Hall of Cádiz along with the rest of the midshipmen from the training ship Juan Sebastian de Elcano. They were welcomed by Bruno García, the mayor of Cádiz. During the visit, Crown Princess Leonor signed the City Council's Book of Honor.

Later in the morning, Crown Princess Leonor and her fellow midshipmen visited the Naval Non-Commissioned Officers School. Following this, she visited the Church of the Virgin of Carmen in San Fernando. Princess Leonor will embark on a training cruise as part of her military education, beginning on January 11, 2025, and concluding in July in New York.

    Bon Voyage Princess Leonor. Enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow sailors. she looks so polished in her uniform. I notice on her upper sleeve a gold braid knot, any idea the significance ?
