I too wish Sophie would get rid of those green trousers.

  2. She certainly likes to mix her colours. I think she just grabs any jacket or coat to keep her warm. Her charities mean more to her than clothe#, good for her

  3. The green pants with the reddish tops is holiday dressing gone horribly awry - but Sophie looks charmingly engaged with those around her.

  4. The Duchess is such a natural beauty!

  5. Keep the coat and the boots and change the rest. Maybe some black pants and a sweater would have completed the outfit much better.

  8. Stunning. I think she got to a certain age and said, stuff it, I’m sick of dressing ultra conservatively and I’m going to dress how I like: long soft dresses, bold colour mixes, hair neat but not perfected, etc. And wow doesn’t it work beautifully for her!

I think the duchess of Edinburgh is a beautiful and very hard working royal; however I do not like the combination of the colours she is wearing. It has happened before when she wears nice clothing but the colours of the pieces do not seem to go together.

  12. The Duchess is a lovely Person, so one can overlook this terrible mixture of trousers - blouse.

  13. I wish I could sit on the floor like that — and get up again 😁. Haven’t been able to do that in many years.

  14. Love the glorious color and style of the jewel-tone blouse, which works perfectly with the jacket. I do agree with others that the bright green pants spoil the look. I do not think Sophie should get rid of them, though — just pair them with matching green heels, a white blouse, and a cardigan or jacket in a softer green.

    1. Yes I agree. Individually the pieces are nice, fit well, good colour on her but together not so much

  15. She does look absolutely wonderful, just glowing and beautiful. Yes I would swap the trousers for another colour, maybe camel or off white, but overall she has such a natural, relaxed elegance. ( V.M.)

  16. This is holiday theme dressing run amok. Poor Sophie.

  17. Like I already said before, Duchess Sophie has lovely clothes , but she doesn't have a clue what she can wear together. The green pants should be replaced by a nice pair of black pants or grey ones. Her accessories should be adapted at the color of her pants. Styled like that the outfit would make her look much more up-to-date. I like her hair worn loose like this. This is so much better than the silly buns she is wearing in the neck most of the time.

IMO, the color of the coat and the blouse clash. The blouse by itself is a nice piece. But the green pants don't work for her. I find it amazing that Sophie was once very successful in Public Relations and she doesn't get it regarding fashion and styling. Too many mis-matches in the past few years prove my point. Photos from 10 years ago were so spot on and stylish.
