On December 3, 2024, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, together with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, hosted a diplomatic reception at the Royal Palace for newly appointed ambassadors from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Italy, Serbia, and Lithuania. A few times each year, a reception is held at the Royal Palace for newly appointed ambassadors and their spouses, providing them an opportunity to meet the King and Queen.

Crown Princess in granny style once more. Her husband looking stiff and boring as usual. Anne
ReplyDeleteI agree. I was thinking ´old librarian´ again immediately.
DeleteLove the slightly more relaxed style they wear when they invite people to their home. Daniel consistently handsomely and well suited: Victoria charming and a dress of a beautiful colour for her.
DeleteAgree. Victoria has both the looks and body for some more chic and even fun clothing. And hair to die for. I think Victoria's stylist is so wrong, Victoria ought to change stylist, there are many that could do a fantastic job for her. Daniel is a bore. Daniel is stiff. He even goes to hockey and soccer games in a suit. Maybe a bit unsure of himself. When it comes to suits I think he should take a look at his Father in Laws suits, the King always has the most perfect and well fitting suits in the right and elegant colors. Queen Silvia is always outstanding! Well, well. Only what I think. A
DeleteI wonder if it’s an afternoon reception? That would explain the “business attire” on both Q. Silvia and CPV. They both look very true to their styles. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks great in this two piece suit, she looks very elegant. Not so sure of Victoria's dress, bit too long.

I agree that Victoria should change stylist, as the normal work attire for Victoria has room for improvement. I do not agree that Daniel is stiff, but he needs some space to express himself, which is rarely the case when the King is there.
