On December 20, 2024, Queen Sonja visited the Norwegian Salvation Army’s Street Hospital (Gatehospitalet) in Oslo. The Street Hospital provides tailored 24-hour treatment for somatic illnesses for individuals with severe substance addiction. It is a specialized healthcare facility for those struggling with addiction who require round-the-clock medical care for chronic illness, physical exhaustion, health collapse, or end-of-life care.

The Street Hospital in Oslo collaborates with Oslo Municipality, Oslo hospitals, field care stations, specialized addiction clinics, other nonprofit organizations, and general practitioners. Globally, the Salvation Army operates 24 hospitals, 132 other healthcare facilities, and several mobile clinics, ranging from the Toronto Grace Health Centre in Canada to Howard Hospital in rural Zimbabwe.

    2. Why on earth should she change her outfit? I'm pretty sure she has showered in between and the clothes look clean enough (and the dress is stylish and appropriate), so why not rewear the same outfit several times in a row? That's much more sustainable too.

  3. Very nice suit, good fit, perfect colours for the season. To 15:09 why can she not rewear her clothes to different functions if appropriate? I like very much this family who does not waste money on clothing.
