On December 16, 2024, Queen Rania of Jordan visited the Rosary Sisters Visitation Home, extending warm Christmas greetings and expressing her hopes for peace and security in the region. During a meeting with the nuns, Queen Rania conveyed her gratitude for their contributions to the humanitarian and educational fields in Jordan and abroad.

Established in 1996 to care for elderly nuns, the Rosary Sisters Visitation Home includes 56 bedrooms, several conference rooms, and other facilities. During her visit, the Queen met with Reverend Munther Isaac, Pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Christmas Church in Bethlehem, and the home’s director, Sister Madeleine Dababneh.

  6. The nuns are such a stoic lot I love them;they do so much good in the world.Wow a Christmas church;I think they meant to write Christian Church;as I am Lutheran.
    May Pastor Isaac have all the blessings of the holiday season ;as it is not always peaceful.
    Bethlehem is pretty special with the birth of our dear Lord; Baby Jesus.(Tara)

  8. Let's never forget that Christians are still the most persecuted amongst all religious groups, and by far. Especially in the Middle East where many Christians are the las standing ones. Queen Rania's visit means more than a nice gesture in my opinion. And as always, the wonderful Queen of Jordan knows how to be on the right side of history.
