In Fælledparken, Copenhagen, Queen Mary of Denmark planted an oak tree alongside Lord Mayor Lars Weiss. The change of reign is being marked in a special way with tree plantings in both Copenhagen and the Queen's birthplace, Hobart. While an oak tree has been planted in Copenhagen, a blue gum eucalyptus tree—the official symbol of the Australian state of Tasmania—is being planted in Hobart. This joint tree-planting initiative was proposed by the Hobart City Council to honor the Queen, who hails from their city.

ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup ce style de manteau qui va très bien à Mary ; avec ce bonnet en laine, c'est une tenue parfaite !
ReplyDeleteA thoroughly modern, contemporary Queen and style I love it.
