Both ladies look smartly dressed for this event. Both outfits look stylish for the respective wearer. I like the blue of Madame Macron, and it's nice to see her wearing a longer skirt as winter nears.

I think the queen looks very nice. The suit fits her very well and the length is great. The cut of the suit is quite different from the queen's usual outfits and she looks very, very elegant. I know we are not to comment on body types, but this makes the queen look slimmer.

Hmmm, the queens suit is okay but I find the fabric is too heavy for her to wear. The first lady , love her coat, the fabric is perfect for a petite woman.

The boots are back. Maybe the suit would of looked better in shoes

Both ladies elegant and chic. Camilla’s boots pair very well with her suit.

  5. Superbes toutes les deux - Camilla m'épate en portant cet ensemble dont le style de la veste est élégant ; look parfait avec ses bottes noires - Madame Macron a su adopter une longueur de manteau avantageuse !

New style, new look for Camilla, how lovely to see a new two-piece! I love her rarely seen two-pieces, this one is an even more elegant one, being a dress combined with a jacket. Looks very elegant. Not so much the boots, but then, maybe they are comfort clothing for her in winter (though the heels are higher than they were on her earlier winter boots).

In front view Queen Camilla's new two-piece is looking very good, but in profile the jacket looks too tight on the waist. There is something wrong with the cut of the jacket. Now it looks like Camilla is high waisted which I've never seen before. If only she could have skipped the boots during the ceremony and wear a pair of black shoes with a little heel, which she has. The shoulders of the jacket are better than in her other outfits, less high and probably with less high shoulder pads. The skirt of the dress is smaller than usual which is much more elegant.
Madame Macron should look out that the shoulders of her coat are not becoming too wide or maybe she and Queen Camilla decided to change their silhouette by copying each other.

I love this fresh look on QC! It’s such a nice change from her long coats and zip front dresses. (V.M.)

  9. Why don't you like boots? I find them very nice especially for the older ladies, they are warm too. Both ladies look very elegant and the queen's suit is a wonderful surprise, suits her.

I can't speak for everyone, but it is not that the boots are bad, it is that they don't leave her feet for half the year. She has the means to have a decent variety of shoes and boots. It becomes tiresome to see them on her feet nearly every time she makes an appearance at an event.

Reusing clothes is good when Queen Mary of Denmark but not for Camilla?! Reusing comfortable shoes and/or boots is so sensible and practical, and I think this is something that King Charles and Camilla appreciate and prefer. Besides this, it’s very winter-chic to wear boots and dresses/skirts.

Winter chic to wear boots with dresses and skirts ?
Yes but all depends with which kind of winter clothes. The kind of two-piece Queen Camilla is wearing now does not go well together with boots. Look at other Queens and Princesses in Scandinavia i.e. where it is colder than in the rest of Europe, they wear boots with large midi or leather skirts or with sweaters and midi skirts made of thick woolen fabrics and under longer winter coats. You will never see Queen Silvia wearing boots with her two pieces, dress + jacket or skirt + jacket. When it is snowing and they really had to wear thick winter boots their clothes are adapted to the winter weather too : snow anorak, long warm pants, woolen hats etc...

@Anon 4:17 Absolutely no one has a problem with rewearing clothes and shoes. No one said that they did. Camilla puts these boots on in autumn and rarely wears anything else until spring. She can do better. The boots do not go with everything she wears. I understand wanting to be comfortable and warm, but she needs a few more options.

Mrs. Macron looks very chic in her beautifully fitted coat, but I think it would look even better without the very pronounced shoulder pads, which create a rather stiff and severe silhouette. Shoulder pads can help women with narrow shoulders, but Mrs. macron doesn’t need them.

Camilla is a trooper working very hard even though she has been ill recently. I personally like her dresses with matching coat better. Hope she's feeling better.

Wonderful look for both ladies. Queen Camilla in a completely new and interesting suit, Madame Macron in a very graceful, slightly romantic ensemble.

  13. Blue is definitely Madame Macron's color and she wears it well. Although age is just a number you would never know there is a 25 year age difference between she and President Macron. Because she seems to be so young at heart and if I did not know better I would never imagine the age difference so Keep doing what you are doing Madame!

Great cause and the impact of having both ladies to present awards is remarkable.

Onto outfits. I don’t love this marled grey colour, but the suit is a welcome departure from her usual Fiona Clare dresses. It seems the jacket could have been a bit less tight.

Mme Macron looks much better with this hem length than her usual one (we all learned by now she has nice thin legs, she can cover her knees now). Fabric is a bit shiny for my taste, but overall good sartorial showing from both.

Wow, doesnot she look sophisticated, Queen Camilla!
New style that suits her very well.
And Madame Macron: beautifull colour and what a difference the length of the coat makes! Not so childish anymore.

    Paloma.
