Princess Caroline paid a Christmas visit to the Cap Fleuri Residence with the Croix-Rouge Monégasque. During the visit, Princess Caroline met with elderly patients staying in the hospital and residents of the nursing homes, and distributed various gifts to them. The Résidence du Cap Fleuri, a nursing home, is located in the commune of Cap d'Ail in the Alpes-Maritimes. Built in 1943, the residence was originally used as a place of rest and recovery by Prince Louis II, the then-sovereign of Monaco.

  1. Une veste dont les couleurs des carreaux conviennent à merveille à Caroline surtout qu'elle a su bien choisir celle de son pantalon en velours !

The color of her pants match perfectly .

    1. Dear Froufrou, I couldn't agree with you more! Although, I would have chosen somewhat kinder words. She has had this haircut/hairdo for ages now. In my opinion, she looks great with short hair - plenty of photos on the web where you can see her with a short haircut. Maybe she just reached the time in her life where she couldn't care less about her appearance, and that's ok too. All her life she has dazzled us with her beauty and fashion choices, maybe she is happy to let her daughters and daughter-in-law take over.

    4. I agree with Froufrou. Especially the jacket is awful. Another proof ot the bad taste of the house of Chanel lately. Princess Caroline her hair has different colors now, blond, dark roots shining through and greyish. It is about in the same style as Queen Maxima's, but I think - lucky for her by the way - that Princess Caroline's hair has a better quality. She should unify her color and she can use a little hair cut, not too much.

  4. Caroline looks lovely! Her outfit is pretty with a Christmas theme. What a nice event for both Caroline and the residents.

    1. Yes very much so. She is allowing herself to age naturally and doing a great job of it. Not a fan of the outfit, but it is okay

  6. This was a beautiful visit by the Princess, what a uplifting experience for the patients especially at this time of year and the staff. Well done to the Princess, her sincerity was shining through loud and clear. I may be in the minority, but I love this outfit, especially the jacket, I think its lovely. The blouse is pretty and feminine, and her pants are a good color and fit perfectly.

    1. There are only 38,000 citizens in Monaco and you have to have a very healthy bank account to live there. These are not poor people but rather elderly citizens that the royals visit out of kindness not need

  8. Why does Princess Caroline have to unify her hair colour? This is how hair turns grey naturally. In my opinion she needs a flattering hairdo. Her hair is usually unkempt, too long and stringy, a pity really because her features are very good.

    1. I agree with Virginia. Caroline still is a very beautiful woman. I like the outfit and with a better hairdo she would look perfect.

    2. @ Virginia
Her hair does not grey naturally. During summer her hair is more blond and on other occasions her hair is more grey. Letting your hair turn grey naturally is not having it more blond in the summer and more grey during autumn and winter.
