    1. Why??? Why can't you let go of the gossip? It is Christmas. I have a feeling that you are far more bothered than they are.

    4. 20:09 We live in the 21 century as a Norwegian I can promise you no one cares.

    5. 15:31 yes I agree. They had a few rough hiccups and I wish them a smooth and healthy new year. To 17:18, it’s ok to just let people comment without assuming you know the basis for their comment and responding to their fair wish. Peace and health to all.

    6. @20:09, because she was in front?! Egalitarian Norway allows women to walk in front of men, even royals.

    8. Anon 20.51 & 01.28 This order is part of royal tradition and etiquette, where the reigning monarch or heir is given the primary position in public appearances. While it may seem symbolic, it's not personal—it's simply a reflection of royal hierarchy. Why answer if you do not have a proper answer? My question still remains… - Anon 20.09

  2. Tout de suite, je trouve de l'élégance dans le look de la reine Sonja qui est coiffée d'un chapeau dans un style cloche ; j'aime beaucoup !

  4. Would like to see more of Princess Ingrid Alexandra’s wonderful burgundy turtleneck dress. Is it knitted? Does anyone know the brand? Lovely coat on the Crown Princess. Happy Christmas!

    1. Today is December 26 we are in the middle of celebrating the birth of Christ, and still we have a problem showing humbleness, empathy and Christian love and charity. Maybe we should pick up the book and read Luke 2, 1-20 instead.

    2. Are we really so stuck up that we care about in which order they go into the church? And why so nasty, and at Christmas?

    3. Maybe you compare to much with another country ? U.K. maybe ?
Not every European monarchy follows the rules of the British royal monarchy. Like someone said we are in the 21st century and I add we are living very difficult times in which a lot is going on. Don't you think there are far more important things to care about than the fact that a crown princess walks before the Crown Prince ?

    4. The comment was responding to someone saying Mette Marrit was walking ahead of her husband. No one cares about that this century! Regarding other actions never forget that the story from the press is almost never the full story and often biased and reported with inaccuracies ; let’s just wish them peace and privacy to get through their private problems.

  11. Re MM walking in front of her husband, he is not the king so why not. I have seen photos of the swedish queen walk in front of the king. I sometimes think in a none formal occasion the gentleman let the lady walk in front. In Britain they tend to revere the position over the person, 5 steps behind, no touching, staff assisting grandma. Imo no disrespect intended.
