On December 19, 2024, King Charles hosted a pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace, accompanied by Queen Camilla. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne, Sir Timothy Laurence, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, as well as Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, were among the royals who attended the traditional gathering.
Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor, and Lady Gabriella Kingston also joined the luncheon. However, the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, were unable to attend as they were in Norfolk.
Lovely to see the family come together. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteIt's so weird how different this congregation looks as compared to what one would have imagined a few years ago. No PoW, no DoS, none of their wives or kids are there as well.

Life isn’t predictable for anyone!
DeleteNothing new. One generation moves on & the next one takes over. In my lifetime I recall the Queen Mother & Princess Margaret, Duke of Windsor & Wallis Simpson, King Frederik IX & Queen Ingrid, King Olav, Queen Juliana. Those were the days... Time marches on... ~~Ruthie
DeleteDe très belles photos mais j'aurais bien voulu y voir la famille de Galles qui se trouvait à Norfolk ; bizarre, bizarre !
ReplyDeletePourquoi bizarre??
ReplyDeleteIt occurred to me that King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived separately each in an other care.
