I realize that the empress does not wish to outshine her guest, but her outfit is boring, although the fabric looks interesting. The dress of Madame Nguyen is very pretty and feminine.

  2. Masako looks elegant, although the monochromatic look is a bit boring. But look at the Vietnamese lady's look. Wow! The embroidery completely changes the dress. Pure elegance.

The empress suit looks plain until you see the fabric close up. Very nicely tailored

Lovely, simple, elegant suit from Empress Masako--the fabric is gorgeous. I'm not a fan of the color as I feel it is not a flattering choice for Masako--it washes her out. Mme Nguyen's dress (traditional Vietnamese ao dai) is gorgeous! Hope to see more of Masako and Mme Nguyen during this visit.

I wish she wore more color, not always the pale color ones. The gown from the Vietnamese First lady is stunning.

I am wondering how come that these Japanese and in this case Vietnamese ladies never receive comments on their hairstyle. When CP Victoria is wearing her hair like that, she is attacked by the majority of the bloggers.
