On December 3, 2024, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, Honorary President of the Cancer Foundation, attended the organization’s 30th anniversary event, held at the Lycée de Garçons de Luxembourg, together with Prime Minister Luc Frieden and Ministers Yuriko Backes, Max Hahn, Martine Deprez, and Stéphanie Obertin.
Founded in 1994 in Luxembourg, Fondation Cancer has been at the forefront of cancer control for three decades. The foundation remains fully dedicated to its three missions: preventing cancer, supporting patients and their families, and advancing research.
Belle combinaison de couleurs mais son haut est trop blousant au niveau de la taille ; toujours une coupe méchée qui lui sied à merveille !
ReplyDeleteThis is an outfit that doesn’t quite work….maybe it’s the draping of the top across her tummy, however the neckline is beautiful, and her hair, makeup and accessories are perfect. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteI think this outfit is better than MT usually wears. Her top is loose enough to not draw any attention to unflattering parts of her tummy, while suggesting a waist with the tie, and it compliments her trousers that are a very nice cut on her. I also like the neckline because it frames her face beautifully. She has not enveloped herself in fabric and she looks all the trimmer for it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a top that suits her very well: cut and colour.
ReplyDeleteI actually like this outfit on the GD. The drape of the top is not too clingy and the pants fit her nicely. She looks very nice.
ReplyDeleteThat neckline is awful and overwhelms GDMT petite frame. The unstructured shoulders add to the droopy look making her look rounded and mis proportioned. A tailored shirt works so much better on her - like we saw the other day in the wrap blouse with the collar and side tie. THAT looked great on her! I cannot imagine anything this particular shapeless top would work with altho maybe a bigger woman, like Queen Max could pull it off. Certainly not a petite person like the Grand Duchess. It just doesn't work.
ReplyDeleteHer trousers doesn’t fit att all.
ReplyDeleteI think this is lovely. Colours, design, fit - all are great, and maybe most of all it´s more demure than her usual which I find more becoming.
ReplyDeleteImo it’s a very basic mistake for women with short legs (I’m one) to wear light-colored shoes with dark trousers, as it makes their legs look even shorter (obviously). Matching the shoes to the trousers creates a longer, more flattering line. This is basic stuff. Maria Teresa is such an attractive lady, it’s painful to see her pair white shoes with black trousers.
ReplyDeleteAgree, black shoes would have been better.
