  1. A nice look for the DoE. Like the color of this coat, also the coat itself.

  4. Le vert olive de cette robe-manteau sied à ravir avec sa blondeur !

  5. The coatdress is too long and there is too much fabric in the skirt.
The color of the off white/light beige boots does not match the khaki/olive green coat. The cognac boots she wore with the black leather dress lately, would have been better.

    1. I agree. As usual, I think this coat is too long. I liked the color of her gloves with the coat, and thought she would be wearing shoes or boots in a similar color. When I got down to the full view, I found the color of her boots jarring.

    2. Agree with you both. The coat is a lovely colour and style but the boots spoil it. If she had worn non slouchy chocolate brown boots, it would have made all the difference. She’s as lovely as ever in spite of the odd sartorial choices

  7. The DoE looks very stylish in this coatdress. I feel a different pair of boots (with a small heel) in a different colour would even further improve the look.

  8. She looks incredibly frumpy. The belt from the original coat design would have done wonders for this look.

  9. I LOVE the coat and surprisingly I even like the length. I'd only swap the boots for something less light and maybe consider adding the belt again, as it really adds to the design.

  10. Beautiful coat and the color is very flattering to Sophie. I do wish she had worn brown boots in the same shade as her gloves. Sophie looks wonderful here.

  11. I believe Sophie wore this coat dress last Christmas.
It’s somber enough for the purpose of today’s visit. But,spoilt by the cream/biscuit colored boots. A pair of tan boots to match her gloves would have been a better finish.
I truly wish she would get herself a stylist. Most royal ladies do.Sophie would benefit enormously from their advice.

  12. I always like to see the DoE in this coat. I find it really suits her. Boots that either tone with the gloves or coat would have improved today's overall look

  13. This widely flared type of coat isn’t doing Sophie any favours. It looks great on a tall lady like Catherine, but it drowns her. And in my opinion it is a little tight on the chest.
