On November 27, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the award ceremony for the 2023 Gold Medals for Merit in Fine Arts, held at the Royal Artillery Factory in Seville. Among the award winners, proposed by the Minister of Culture, Ernest Urtasun, were actresses Gemma Cuervo and Vicky Peña, dancers Antonio Najarro and Lucía Lacarra, playwright José Sanchís Sinisterra, designer Modesto Lomba, and the musical group Estopa.
A total of 37 cultural figures and institutions, selected by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, received their medals from King Felipe and Queen Letizia at the Royal Artillery Factory in Seville. The Gold Medal of Merit in Fine Arts is awarded by Spain's Ministry of Culture to individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to art and culture or to the preservation of artistic heritage.
I miss a brooch but Letizia does not wear brooches. The look is not monocromatic and I actually find it very good. I like the black bag, shoes and belt.
ReplyDeleteElégante robe joliment ceinturée ; j'adore sa couleur qui varie en fonction des photos !
ReplyDeleteQL very rarely gets it wrong.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely midi dress. The color is in keeping with the season, and the black accessories finish the look off beautifully.
Lowri.

Paloma.
What a wonderful colour for Letizia! And I like her shoes!
ReplyDeleteAwful shoes. Rem
ReplyDeleteThe dress is very simple and elegant. I love the blush pink colour and the smart use of the belt to create a more structured look. The side slit on the skirt as well as the ones on the sleeves add a touch of contemporary flair without being too revealing. This is the type of clothing that really suits Letizia.
ReplyDeleteLove the soft colour of the dress, it suits Letitia very well !!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty dress, very flattering in style and color for Queen Letizia. I love that she added a belt to give the dress more shape. The black shoes and accessories are complimentary to the color of the dress. The details at the cuffs is a stylish touch. Do I wish she would add a bit of jewelry? Yes--a brooch or a necklace would add so much to this look. But (sadly) Letizia isn't much into wearing jewelry outside of gala occasions.

I am not wowed by the color. I think when Letizia wears color, vibrant colors look the best on her. I also think to get away with a dress this length, a higher heel would look better, more proportional. Since she can no longer wear high heels, I would prefer to see the dress shorter.
