On November 13, 2024, King Felipe and Queen Letizia welcomed the Olympic and Paralympic athletes who participated in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games at El Pardo Palace in Madrid. During the reception, the King and Queen personally congratulated the athletes and members of both the Olympic and Paralympic teams for their achievements.
In the Paralympic Games, Spain earned a total of 40 medals: seven gold, 11 silver, and 22 bronze. Teresa Perales, one of the country's most iconic athletes, achieved her 28th Paralympic medal, equaling Michael Phelps’ record. Other athletes, such as Susana Rodríguez and Daniel Molina, excelled in Para triathlon, while Ricardo Ten shone in Para cycling, securing three medals.
Les couleurs Bordeaux et noir se combinent à ravir dans cet ensemble ; je remarque la délicatesse de ses nouvelles boucles d'oreilles !
ReplyDeleteThe king definitely out shines the queen in their suits
ReplyDeleteTge king and queen are always perfection in their atire
DeleteAnonymous 16:47 … can you say more? We’re not here to rank humans as better or worse, but for fashion. A short sentence of ranking feels like criticism. What makes one stand out over the other for you? - Grace
DeleteOkay more, I feel the colour of suit the king is nicer than the colour of the suit the queen is wearing, he looks better therefore he out shines her. Has all to do with fashion nothing else.
DeleteThe king and queen complement each other. A wine red suit for her and a red tie for him. After two different grey suits, I think Queen Letizia has the right to wear something different. I like the wine red pant suit. If I remember correctly the polo's which the athletes (and also the king and queen) wore at the Olympic games in Paris were also wine red. This year during Autumn and Winter, wine red is one of the fashionable colors to wear. His grey suit and her wine red suit are going very well together. I do not see any problem at all.
DeleteThank you for the more! I actually really enjoyed reading your thoughts on it and had a good extra look at the King’s very nice suit! I wonder if Letizia had worn a lighter coloured shirt if that suit might have looked less sombre. Thank you!
DeleteVery elegant but not regal. Many times Letizia brings the journalist past into her working looks.
ReplyDeleteActually we need a Queen like her, with mud until her knees, the most important thing is her people..that is "regal"...and in Spain the situation is not for nonsense now, still raining, floods .
DeleteWhat do you understand by regal ? You know queen Letizia does not like many jewelry. You can't expect her to wear a tiara or a lace dress to receive the athletes ?
Deleteare suffering terrible disasters in Spain, still finding dead people, It is not time for festivities. Do you not know what happen two weeks ago? We are not in the mood for "regals".
DeleteLetizia looks well-groomed and the rich red is a good color for her. I don’t particularly care for her shoes, which appear rather clunky, but I know she has had painful foot problems so they were probably chosen for comfort over style.

Queen Letizia looks great in this very traditional trouser suit, the color is beautiful, and I love how the bow at the neckline of her blouse softens the look. I also really like Letizia's choice of a chunky heel loafer--it's a very stylish pairing with a suit.

Burgundy and black color this combination works beautifully. The pantsuit fits perfectly, love the blouse, very feminine and elegant.
ReplyDelete女王は集中豪雨の犠牲者へ哀悼の意を表すために黒いブラウスを着ていたのではないでしょうか。
ReplyDeleteThe suit looks good and nice autumn color. maybe a white top?

I looked for a suit like that yesterday when shopping. Unfortunately in the affordable brands, I didn't find the right wine red color nor fabric. Just Hugo Boss sells the color and fabric that I am looking for, but that is a bit too expensive for me. Their burgundy/berry pant suits were combined with all shades of pinkish/nude colors. Very attractive.
