On November 13, 2024, Queen Sofia visited the San Jose Institute Foundation, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, to receive updates on the hospital’s progress and its new projects. Queen Sofia previously visited this institution in 1985, when she presented the 11th Ibero-American Epilepsy Award. In 2015 and 2016, she also served as the honorary sponsor of the institution's Foro Espacio Esperanza.
The San Jose Institute Foundation (Fundación Instituto San José) is a century-old non-profit organization active in three areas: healthcare, social services, and education. It is a leading hospital in the Community of Madrid for neurological and functional rehabilitation, palliative care, and disability services.
Queen Sofia looks marvelous in this well cut and fitted trouser suit. The fabric has the look of a nice wool blend. I like the back pleats in the jacket, but I'm not sure you need the buttons on the front jacket pockets. It's just my opinion, but I prefer the clean ensembles to all the foo-foo frills regardless of whose wearing them.
ReplyDeleteI agree. This is a sharp suit. I, too, prefer more simple designs. That being said, it is a big improvement over some of the things she wears. She may have a cleaner look than usual, but she has kept her love of wearing layers and layers of jewelry.

Queen Sofia : always looking elegant and stylish. I love the combination of the classic grey suit and the green blouse. If you compare her with the lady next to her in the last picture, Sofia is the winner !
