Queen Mary received Chair Malene Deele and Director Michael Buksti from the Danish Kidney Association. During the meeting, the Queen was briefed on current matters and upcoming activities of the patient association. The briefing took place at Frederik VIII’s Palace. Since 2005, the Queen has served as the patron of the Kidney Association.
Last week, Queen Mary met with Maya and Rükiye from the Mary Foundation’s Youth Panel at Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg. Queen Mary, Maya, and Rükiye will attend the launch of the Mary Foundation’s new initiative, IMPACT (AFTRYK), at an event on Friday, November 29. The new initiative, AFTRYK, invites young people to work on specific topics that affect their daily lives and, ultimately, their well-being.
