On November 3, 2024, Queen Mary of Denmark attended a conference (Klovnference) with Danish Hospital Clowns (Danske Hospitalsklovne) at the Severin Conference Center in Middelfart. Danish Hospital Clowns is a non-profit organization that brings clowns to hospitals to uplift the spirits of sick children, fostering joy and courage, and transforming hospital rooms into spaces filled with play and magic.

Danish Hospital Clowns is an organization dedicated to providing psychological support to sick children and their families. The team members involved in this project are not volunteers, but professionals who undergo a specialized hospital clown training program. This program is internationally recognized and takes 1 to 1.5 years to complete.

    The red of the blouse is a great color for Mary but that’s the only attractive thing about it. The sleeves are too floppy and fussy and the pattern is awful…almost clownish itself? 🤡 But a very worthwhile cause…making children happy!
