On November 21, 2024, Queen Letizia attended the 14th Edition presentation of the Luis Carandell Parliamentary Journalism Awards, held at the Senate Palace (Palacio del Senado) in Madrid. The Queen presented the Territoriality Category award to Pablo RodrÃguez and the Parliamentarism Category award to Juan Manuel Lamet.
After the ceremony, the Queen visited the exhibition Stitches of Dignity organized by APRAMP (Asociación para la Prevención, Reinserción y Atención a la Mujer Prostituida) at the Senate Palace (Palacio del Senado) in Madrid. Queen Letizia wore a tweed jacket created at the APRAMP fashion workshop.
The last photo is a good example of how a proportioned jacket makes all the difference in appearance. The queen and the woman in the blue suit are roughly the same size and height and the difference in the visual is very apparent.

DeleteThe light blue suit is a terrible fit overall. Seems to me it is one size too big. Shoulder pads are too broad, sleeves and trouser legs too long, blazer too long, not fitted in the bust area, plus a wrinkly fabric. Also the light blue seems somehow off, when everybody else is dresses in autumn colours.
DeleteVery elegant. Love the color.
ReplyDeleteLetizia your empathy and solidarity have always touched very deeply my heart. But you have your own burdens. You have your own challenges. Live your life fully and trust that God and the universe will help and guide those with similar burdens. Be happy. Love the jacket and your earrings. 💕
ReplyDeleteThis is a smart, chic and stylish outfit. The black pants, and this particular jacket look fabulous. I can see Letizia is growing her hair out. I loved it that little bit shorter.
ReplyDeleteTrès jolie petite veste, coupe impeccable, beau tissu en tweed, belles couleurs.
ReplyDeleteElle doit bien l'aimer car elle l'a déjà portée plusieurs fois. Paloma.
Great and very elegant.

J'aime bien voir Letizia reporter cette élégante veste en tweed dont les couleurs peuvent se combiner avec d'autres teintes comme du blanc par exemple !
