Princess Eugenie of York visited the 'Ellsworth Kelly at 100' exhibition at M7 art center in Doha, Qatar. Princess Eugenie also toured the Chaumet and Nature exhibition at M7 art center. Organized by the Glenstone Museum (Maryland) and showcased by M7—Qatar’s hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in design, fashion, and technology—the retrospective commemorates what would have been American artist Ellsworth Kelly’s 100th birthday. Princess Eugenie is an art director at Hauser & Wirth.

-Dorothe-
ReplyDeleteOh dear…this dress, the style and color, do absolutely nothing for Eugenie. She has a lovely figure but this dress is meant for someone taller and more statuesque. I do like the side part of her hair, it is flattering to her face.
ReplyDeleteNot the best dress for PE and if sneakers are to be worn underneath, there are better alternatives than the current ones
ReplyDeleteSneakers?!
ReplyDeleteThe dress is too long and doesn't fit on her shoulders. Here a pair of thin shoulder pads is needed to make her shoulders looking less hanging.
ReplyDeleteThe sneakers do not work under this dress. She looks better with her hair loose. The dress looks better on the model.
O Eugenie, how can you choose such ill-fitting clothes?!
ReplyDeleteThe dress absolute unfitting for her body-length and width, the sneakers make it worse.
Très jolie la couleur jaune de cette robe mais alors non pour ces baskets ?!
ReplyDeleteOh, dear! She has such a sweet look about her, but that dress is overwhelming on her. To fix it I would remove the bottom ruffle and hem it there. The suggestion for thin shoulder pads is good. In contrast to her mother's taste, she barely fills the bodice of the dress. Attractive flat shoes are easily found and if you are going to be in photos, try to look your best.
ReplyDeleteI fully agree. Shoulder pads are needed to counter the droop of her shoulders. She would have looked more balanced with them. Sneakers can look cute at the right time with the right dress. I don’t think this is it.
DeleteJust a huge no. Colour, shape, length, shoes, hair, I mean really what was she thinking. She does have a lovely smile.
ReplyDeleteOh no. The color and style of the dress does not suite her at all.
ReplyDeleteSomething to wear to the beach as it would be cool and not clingy. I really do not like the way these dresses emphasize the bust, big or small. Just makes them look like two orbs.
ReplyDelete"Maybe" if she had styled it like the model; proper length and size and better shoe? I don't know.
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Eugenie, this dress is wearing you. It's too big and too long. I'm on the fence about the color for her but in these photos that is no. I have no idea why she chose to wear sneakers--maybe if she was at casual summer event or a beach holiday--but I don't think occasion fits those categories. I like her and there are times she looks fabulous but this not one of them.

This is a definite no.
ReplyDeleteThe style, shape, length and overall look. No.
Not bad, but too yellow.

Almighty ... it looks as if the cleaning woman entered the wrong door and somebody placed her into the picture instead of another lady who was late. Nice smile, but this is not quite enough.
