I think she's finally feeling really healthy and in a good place.

I think she looks fabulous in these photos. Hair, makeup, clothes - everything just right. If possible, I actually think she looks younger!

Charlene’s looking pretty and her hair very soft - but I find that the magazine photo editor’s airbrushing has gone too far. She’s a 46 year old woman and entitled to display her wrinkles Gala! - Grace

My thoughts as well. She looks amazing but it is a bit too much of editing.

When British Royals get their pictures airbrushed the whole world goes nuts, but other Royals nobody cares.

    7. The direction of the light does a lot, too, and in these kind of portrait photoshoots the photographer doesn't normally use strong side lights as they would make anyone's face look structured. The photographer is also usually the one to make the final decisions concerning the developing and editing of an image, not the models themselves.

  3. Des photos pleines de douceur jusque dans ses cheveux qu'elle a laissé un peu pousser ; trop mignon son petit chien !

She looks lovely but the airbrushing has gone a bit fat. Her little dog is adorable.

J'aime bien sa chemise blanche, sa coiffure et la couleur de son vernis à ongles. Paloma.

  6. Perfection! And the little doggie almost steals the show. Charlene had no control over the airbrushing, I'm sure. Many public figures - Kate Winslet, Zendaya, Lady Gaga have spoken out over their edited photos. Also - no hate intended - I love Charlene's little wiglet. I have very thin hair like hers, and I am thinking of trying one. It looks gorgeous on her.

Princess Charlene is such a beautiful woman,it a pity that she felt airbrushing was needed in these images.
I love her cape,it just screams luxurious!
Her little dog is so cute.

Love the poncho. The jeans have an interesting side seam. I like her hair soft like this, soft around her face.

Lorraine (Pseudo: Rose).

I miss princess Charlene. She should appear more often. Would like to see a different hair cut. Longer hair would be nice. More jewels and more monaco glamour... More Grace Kelly... More Charlene.

  19. To those sniping about airbrushing Princess Charlene's "wrinkles" - she is only 46 with excellent skincare - why assume she has "wrinkles"? Having seen her "in person" I can assure you she is not in need of "airbrushing" - but magazines etc always want to "improve" the image - the subject (Princess Charlene here) does not personally airbrush what is published!

    2. Charlene was quite noticeably quite early with wrinkles ; which is common for those growing up in long southern hemisphere summers. She has had a heap of cosmetic interventions to hide a lot of the early damage. But even so at this age all humans will have wrinkles because the skin does tell our story. I would prefer to see these wrinkles than for older women to have the pressure to look artificially wrinkle free!

  20. Above anything else, I love Charlene's serene and peaceful looks. As a woman about the same age, and a mom to 2 children, I was really sad about what happened to her. Now it seems like she is doing fine. I hope she's got all the support she needs to make it last.

    1. What a lovely compassionate comment. I think she lived with severe depression with several other things contributing to that for much of her marriage, which came to a head with a fairly major crisis, after which she received excellent care; and it is amazing and heartwarming to see her these days after so many years of visible sadness. - Grace

  21. We all, everday women like you and me, especially impressionable young women, carry the consequences of filters and airbrushing used for royal and nonroyal celebrities. Yes of course, the woman on these photos looks adorable. But totally unreal and not like herself at all.
