Princess Caroline and Princess Alexandra of Hanover, accompanied by Alexandra's boyfriend, Ben Sylvester Strautmann, attended the opening of the A.E. Köchert Fine Jewelry Exhibition held at the Hôtel de Paris in Monte Carlo, Monaco. A.E. Köchert Juweliere, a Vienna-based jewelry brand founded in 1814, is currently managed by the sixth generation of the Köchert family: Christoph, Wolfgang, and Florian Köchert.

You are right Froufrou. In the Grimaldi family there are more people who don't work and live from the money their ancestors collected. Alexandra from Hannover richness is coming also from her father's heritage, That is why her mother never will divorce.
DeleteLucky not every prince(ss) in Europe is lazy. There are still enough , young princes and princesses who are studying, because they have to prepare their future. Not everyone is heir to a trone. And those who are working already show us they are capable to earn their own money and support their own family.
Elle vient de terminer ses études et a obtenu un diplôme en Histoire et Littérature. Avec son nom et son titre les portes lui seront facilement ouvertes pour un éventuel travail. Paloma.
DeleteCaroline looks gorgeous here! Love her black sweater as it is perfect for her necklaces. Cannot see enough of either Caroline's or Alexandra's outfits to speak more to their fashion but they both look good.

Interesting that Pss Caroline has worn a mass of Chanel necklaces to this event. I know they carry a high price tag, but aren’t they costume jewelry? I do like her outfit though and as always her natural elegance shines through. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with fantasy (costume) jewelry ? As well Chanel as Dior and probably other grand designers have their own collection of jewelry. As well Princess Caroline as Princess Astrid from Belgium who also have clothes by Chanel are wearing the necklaces of that brand. The typical Chanel necklace is part of the outfit, just like the bags and the shoes. You know as well as I that these princesses have their own jewelry made of gold, diamonds, pearls, sapphire's, emeralds, etc..... which they wear on special occasions. There are also queens who are buying modern jewelry created by young artists in precious metals and new gems. They are not cheap either but give them the possibility to adapt the colors and style of these jewels to their modern outfits.

ReplyDeletePrincess Caroline has confidence as far as aging by not getting lots of plastic surgery but I still do not see anything wrong with taking steps to make you feel better about yourself, I guess to each his own!
