  1. Troppo monocolore per Maxima risulta noioso, la salva il suo sorriso.

  2. Queen Maxima looks great here. Would like to see her use fashion tape to keep her belt in place. My only real complaint is the 100% blergh--a pop of color would have been nice to see.

  3. Belle association de nuances Camel jusque dans le sac à mains et chaussures ; Maxima nous a habitués à plus de couleurs !

  4. I don't really like the color and the monochromatic look. But somehow it suits her. Maybe because the clothes are well fitted. She looks good.

  5. That is a whole lot of blurge! At least it's not Natan!

    1. I think the pantsuit is Natan. It has the same cut as her other two pantsuits she wore lately. Only the coat is Max Mara.
I also find Queen Maxima looking good in the beige monocromatic look. The pop of color police is wrong. The monocromatic look is still fashion, a pop of color is not.

    2. I think the "pop of color" comments have become a running joke at this point. I never take them seriously. It would defeat the point of monochromatic dressing, wouldn't it?

What is "blurge"? The definition that pops up for me is "a large amount of bird droppings". That can't be what is meant in this context.

I really like when she wears her hair in a bun. It suits her and conceals the fact that her hair is thin and stringy.

  7. That's a nice suit. The overall outfit might be a little too monochromatic though. Maybe different colored accessories, or different colored coat? But I do like the look and I think she looks very good here.

  8. Maxima looks like she fell into a tub of beige paint.
I think the outfit desperately needs to be livened up with some color. The individual pieces of clothing are very nice - a nice suit, a nice coat, a handbag - but not together. The model in the picture is wearing blue pants and this color contrast will highlight the coat.
A brown leather handbag, a red or brown top under the jacket or a brightly colored scarf around the neck would help the outfit a lot.

  12. Polished, elegant, business-like....Maxima looks great here. I like the look.
Monochrome seems to be the current trend - last week Mathilde was all in grey, the net fashion sites are full of more examples of the style as well, and now here's Maxima too.

"seems to be the current trend" ? Queen Maxima and Queen Mathilde are wearing since at least 3 years regularly monochrome. You are quite a while on this blog, how come you didn't notice it before ?

    1. To me she looks like always. Queen Maxima always uses a lot of bronzing powder on her cheeks (especially now that her natural sun tan is becoming paler), that is what you see on the pictures.

  15. I really like this yummy caramel look by Q. Maxima. The coat, purse, footwear and jewelry are on point. The suit matches, so is fine but doesn't have the punch of the coat. King W-A's suit is her punch of colour with his tie toning with ensemble. I quite like some of the slightly different hair looks he's been trying lately.

  18. I am a fan of “ ton sur ton”, but this is a bit too much.
When a jacket needs a belt, the cut is not good and it pushes the stomach ( which she doesnot have): so wrong fit.
Hairdo is very good and can be repeated!
