  1. Too many prints on one dress!
Honestly the type of dresses she wears for official engagements are more suited for local events like a church service

    1. I fully agree. Too low key, too informal.

  2. Quel magnifique imprimé coloré mais je me répète, un peu trop long ; par contre, très bon choix que ses chaussures rouges !

  3. Big no to this dress. Sophie looks like a country girl on her way to the market. Nothing wrong with that image. But she is a senior member of the Royal family representing the King and her country at a celebration. I think something more formal would have been a better choice. This dress is way to busy.

    1. I agreed with you. This dress and belt is too casual for an official visit. She should consult a stylist.

  4. The colors in this dress are very pretty but the overall effect is a bit busy for me.

    1. I agree with you.
At a casual, sunny outdoor event, paired with a light, colourful hat, this dress would look better.

    2. Agreed — I love pastels, but just too much going on here unfortunately.

Ce n'est pas un bon choix pour Sophie.

  6. The dress has some pretty details, but the patten is too much visually.

  7. Sorry Sophie but this dress has too much going on--and looks like a patchwork quilt recut into a dress. Please have this one cut up and made into pillow covers.

    1. No pillow cases either, just throw it out.

  8. This dress is too loud and too busy imo

  9. I think Sophie should really stop wearing all those print dresses. So old fashioned and dull. And the length of these dresses on her feet makes them even more boring. She is just a very pretty and friendly looking lady but needs urgently a new stylist.

    1. I wouldn't say that the length makes her outfits boring, but frumpy and matronly and make her look very much older than 60. Princess Anne, much maligned for her lack of fashion sense, looks less frumpy. Print dresses can look great--the skirts over the last two days were nice in themselves but this one is just too busy--like a patchwork quilt as another poster has said. I too wish that she had a stylist to advise her

Yes, definitely a good stylist could help. Agree about the grumpy and matronly look these clothes force upon the Duchess. Stick to basics and classics. Sophie used to dress beautifully several years ago. What happened to her?

  10. Definitely not my favorite Zimmerman piece but it's not a bad choice for an evening garden party. The DOE has other dresses I find more flattering on her but she fits in nicely with the attendees.

  11. Not appropriate for the event and rather unbecoming too. The Duchess could look so much more elegant in more tailored ensembles with less prints. At least the espadrilles are not there. I would like to put them on the bonfire with Queen Camilla's boots!

  12. The fit and style of the dress is good, but the colors and pattern is too much.

  13. Eeeehhh no. The wardrobe she packed has sadly been a miss.
