  1. She is at her best in trouser suits ... I remember that breathtaking red one, on her first solo visit abroad, in Portugal. And this one is excellent on her too.

  2. For me Queen Sofia is the best dressed. I am not sure that Letizia looks good in that dress. It is like she is engulfed by it. Leonor looks good but a bit dull and casual. Sofia looks casual too. Almost no jewelry. For a gala evening it lacks glamour.

  4. Today i am not so much over the moon for the fashions from the Spanish RL.
Letizia's dress I think is a bit over the top for the event. Leonore's suit is nice, it needed a pop of color. Sofias blazer I feel is a bit to big? I think Q Sofia is the winner here. As one says to each its own.

  5. Beautiful jacket on Queen Sofia, OdlR on queen Letizia. Leonor’s suit is perfect and I like the colour of Sofia jacket, although a double breasted jacket looks better buttoned up.

Paloma.

  7. I love the gown Queen Letizia is wearing, very individual and unique. Queen Sofia looks beautiful as do the young royal ladies. The King looks well attired and groomed, a very handsome man and King.

  8. Queen Sofia looks great. The Princess of the Asturias likewise. Although her outfit lacks colour, her hair and make up are good and she looks much slimmer than in her previous two outfits. Infanta Sofia, hooray! She has styled her hair and pulled it off her face ( just as I suggested! 😂) Her outfit is okay but looks very plain for this occasion.

  9. I usually like most everything Letizia wears, but this dress looks like it is overwhelming her, and she looks like she’s dressed to attend a different event than her daughters and MIL in their pants.

    1. Agree the collar is a few inches to long so it is not quite in proportion to her. Not sure what it is these day with the queen. Is she feeling squeezed out as her daughter takes on more of the spotlight. Her demeanour changes in the presence of queen Sofia

  10. Everyone looks good, though I think all the dark clothes would be beautifully accented by some tasteful bling from the royal vault. J

  11. Queen Sofia is the winner here--what a beautiful jacket she is wearing. I like Infanta Sofia's outfit but I feel like she might have borrowed the jacket from her grandmother--it is good to see her wearing heels to an evening event. Leonor's tuxedo is perfect for her but she needed something to make it pop--some color would help make the outfit more chic. Finally, Queen Letizia. I really do not like this dress. The ruffle is awful and is overwhelming Letizia. I don't even think there is any way to fix this dress either. Even beautiful Letizia cannot save this one.

  14. Why all these dark colours? It is supposed to be a festive event.
Suit of Leonor: perfect; Sofia: the flared trousers are very good on her, as is the long jacket, hair out of face: much better.
Q.L. : for an other party quite nice.

    1. Royal award ceremonies tend to be formal, and in Europe dark colours are always elegant and apt.

  15. The RF looks as good as they usually do. The princesses are dressed youthfully as always and kindness shines from them as it does from their father and grandmother.
Their mum is a little hard faced and could learn from her family to smile more. She is dressed appropriately for the occasion, though I'm not keen on the off the shoulder look.

  16. I do not like this Herrera dress on Laetizia. This dress is overwhelming her figure and makes her even more "petite" than she is. Love the pant suit of the crown princess with the kittenheels underneath. Her sister could do much better. Colour of the blazer very dull and imv she would look more beautiful with her hair out of her face.

  18. Queen Letizia : the ruffle is too big and the dress is too long now that she is wearing kitten heels. On the first picture I am having the impression that the dress is too big for her.
CP Leonor : perfect black pant suit. I love her hair in an updo like this.
Infanta Sofia : the blazer is too wide for her and the (bronze ?) color is not a good idea. She should wear the blazer buttoned up. She could try once and a
while another hair style i.e. in a side part. How nice she is wearing golden
itten heels (I cannot see it very well) ?
Queen Sofia : she always dresses chic at ceremonial events. I love her white jacket and black flared pants and golden shoes with a little heel.

  21. Queen Sofia and princess Leonore look fabulous !! Beautiful updo !
I don’t like queen Letitia’s dress, her bare shoulder is too skinny for such a dress imo

  22. I absolutely love Letizia's dress! This is glamour without looking like every other royal. She has an appreciation for fashion, and is not afraid to show it. The dress would have looked better with higher heels, but given her foot issues, she has chosen well. With kitten heels, I would have preferred her dress a bit shorter. Leonor and Sofia have worked out attractive, tailored, and youthful outfits that are perfect for their ages. It is a difficult age for them to find the right clothes for these more formal events. The goal at their ages, for this type of event, is to look polished without wearing clothes that are too old for them. I think the perfect solution is to wear suits, and I would expect that they will dress more formally as they get older.

  23. It took a few minutes to remember Letizia is from Asturias; this is her hometown. That could explain the extra dressy gown. I think the ruffle is a little too wide. I will reserve comment on the daughters outfits. They are in transition to the adult world. Leonor still has a 1/3 of her military training to complete. There are videos which tell a different picture from the still shots. In the videos Letizia comes across as happy to share the attention w/her daughters and happy they are grown. The still shots make it look like she wants to e the center of attention. Chris L

  24. Letizia looks amazing. I miss the necklace that goes with the earrings. Leonor is perfect. Sofia is Sofia. Quite a different style. We can criticise or just accept that it is her style. Queen Sofia... Always regal, always sharp.

  25. The Spanish royal family is very discreet when wearing jewelry . They are into a lot of bling unless it’s a state dinner with tiaras. Their outfits are perfect if a bit dark . It’s almost winter and in Europe they dress for each season.
