On October 25, 2024, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Crown Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofía attended a reception held on the occasion of the 2024 Princess of Asturias Awards Ceremony. The reception took place at the Hotel La Reconquista in Oviedo, prior to the awards ceremony. Jury chairs, members of the Princess of Asturias Foundation, Boards of Trustees, and the 2024 Princess of Asturias laureates were present at the reception.

Létizia porte une très jolie robe, forme et couleur, elle a beaucoup de goût, mais les filles ! que se passe t-il ? On a l'impression que Léonor a récupéré une robe qui a rétréci en machine, ....Sofia s'habille trop au-dessus du genou, pas joli du tout.

DeleteQueen Letizia looks good. A lovely dress in a great colour but with her lower heels it needs to be a little shorter. I like the dresses worn by both Princesses. However, Princess Sofia would look so much better if she pinned back her hair, even a little, like Leonor has done, or move to a side parting. The long straight lengths of hair are not flattering. Also, although she is tall, she needs even a low heel to avoid the ‘little girl’ vibe.

You are very preoccupied with the current popular hair styles of young women. This isn't the first time you have mentioned it. The long, straight hair may not be flattering on you, and that is fair. It doesn't mean that these two young ladies, or any other young ladies, would benefit from a style that is not fashionable and more suitable/common for an older woman. Age has a lot to do with their choices. They should dress and wear their hair according to their age. We all have worn what was in style in our youth. I think we sometimes forget that we were once young. This style will be replaced with another before you know it. While I don't agree with your opinion, I do respect it.
DeleteAs an aside, Catherine has worn her hair straight with a center part a few times and she looked beautiful and more youthful.

Je n'aime que la robe rouge-rose de Letizia. Le roi est impeccable comme toujours ! J'aime bien son léger sourire (et ses yeux sourient aussi). Il aurait dû assortir sa cravate à la tenue de son épouse. Paloma.
