Afterwards, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and Princess Leonor attended the reception on the occasion of the 2024 National Holiday at the Royal Palace in Madrid.
October 12 is a national holiday in Spain on which the Spanish people commemorate the history of their country. It is officially called the Fiesta Nacional, or Día de la Hispanidad – Hispanic Day, which also commemorates Spain’s legacy to the world, especially in America.
