Queen Silvia Visits Agrenska and the University of Gothenburg

Queen Silvia wore a burgundy belted blazer pantsuit. Ågrenska is a national centre of competence for rare diseases

On October 10, Queen Silvia of Sweden visited the Ågrenska Center in Gothenburg and inaugurated the newly opened 'Framtidens rum' (Room for the Future). Ågrenska is a national competence center for rare diseases and other disabilities. The Queen inaugurated the center in 1989. Afterwards, Queen Silvia participated in a roundtable discussion at the University of Gothenburg in connection with World Mental Health Day.

On verra !

    1. I like the colour too and I too have noticed, that it is popular right now.
I actually like the belt with the suit. It is maybe not necessary, but it is distinctly different from her usual looks, and I welcome some variation. I don´t recall seeing Silvia in such a belted suit before.
The only thing I´d change is the blouse. I know I sound like a broken record, but I really don´t like those bow blouses, especially with anything worn on top. They just don´t work with a jacket. I would have gone for a simple white blouse with a regular collar.

The wine red color is coming back alsmost every fall and winter.
Queen Maxima used to wear wine red pant suits and skirts and matching blouses already 2 years ago.

Paloma.

  2. Lovely suit in a beautiful color for Queen Silvia. She looks elegant and modern. I love the group photo--the 5th picture! The little girl next to Silvia is adorable--so excited to be photographed with the Queen.

    1. Yes I agree. The bow on the blouse fights with the tie belt on the jacket. (V.M.)

  4. I really like the whole look except for the bow on the blouse. The colors are great, the jacket is a welcome change for Q. Silvia. I can't believe I'm saying it but I like her shoes. Not for me but definitely yes for her with this outfit

Two completely different royal ladies, each with their own style. Why one must always compare ?
