On October 8, 2024, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the exhibition 'Margaretha, Emperor’s Daughter Between Power and Image' at the MOU Museum in Oudenaarde. Margaret of Parma (1522-1586) was governor of the Netherlands during a turbulent time at the beginning of the Eighty Years’ War. She was also a prominent figure in Italy and a true art lover and patron. This tribute to Margaret of Parma, Regent of the Netherlands, provides a glimpse into her personal life and highlights her public image.

J aime beaucoup les robes manteaux

This is a lovely dress on Mathilde. I think it looks better than the model, the way she has worn it - with the higher waist and the wider skirt, though it probably needs to be just an inch longer to compensate for wearing the waist higher. But it still looks good. Very nice.

Jolie robe manteau dont la taille est marquée trop haut ; j'aime beaucoup ses chaussures à talons qui équilibrent son look !
ReplyDeleteSimple and nice. Beautifully matched with beige accessories.

I love this look on her! Great colour & nice fit.
ReplyDeleteAlso love the more natural and softer hairstyle.
This coatdress looks great, a lovely fit for the Queen. The skirt has nice movement. I like the color of her accessories.
ReplyDeleteSimple, smart, unfussy coat dress in a beautiful colour. Just right
