On October 2, 2024, Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the 'Second Symposium of Her Majesty the Queen' at the Academy Palace in Brussels, dedicated to the mental health of the elderly and organized by the Royal Academies of Medicine of Belgium (ARMB). Queen Mathilde delivered the opening speech at the symposium. The Queen is an Honorary Member of the Royal Academies of Medicine of Belgium.

      I think she is 1m75cm tall. Which is taller than the average woman of her age. And add the high heels she's even taller ;-)

      Maria Teresa has only a few pieces by Natan.
      It is not her fault that she is so little. But is must really be not easy to find clothes for such a short person.

    The dress is a good colour for Q. Mathilde. Overall a nice style but I'm puzzled by what's happening in the waist area? Detailing? Wrinkles?

      Mathilde is short-waisted so that might be problem here. I see what you are saying and think its due to a figure factor. Janet

      When the dress was new it fitted better. Queen Mathilde is not skinny we all know that, but as long as she is healthy and can fight the stress, fatigue, the camera's which see everything and the critics .....
      By the way I love her hair like that, always have, she looks lovely with her hair separated in the middle.
