On October 10, 2024, as the patron of the Christmas Stamp Foundation, Queen Mary of Denmark participated in the presentation of the 2024 Christmas Seal at Copenhagen City Hall. Also present at the presentation were Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg. The 2024 Christmas seal was designed by graphic designer Niels Ditlev. The Christmas Seal Foundation is a Danish charity running five Christmas Seal homes that provide services for vulnerable children.
This year's seal motifs follow a tradition dating back to 1907, marking the current royal succession in Denmark and honoring the King and Queen. Alongside the King and Queen, the Christmas Seal features a wide array of historical symbols, from the Viking ships of the past to today's royal yacht, from the runes on the Jelling Stone to the letters of the Constitution, from the sky symbols of the Sun Chariot to the Danish astronaut on a mission in space.

Il me semble que Mary a déjà porté ce chemisier à petits boutons mais je ne me rappelle pas à quelle occasion ?! J'aime bien le voir porté par le mannequin !

ReplyDeleteLove this pretty and feminine blouse. Queen Mary looks lovely and I like how she's chosen a pair of either navy or black trousers to show off the blouse. So nice to see Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie joining Mary again this year. This year's stamp is so interesting in terms of its theme of Danish history.

DeleteQueen Mary looks so lovely. Her warmth towards people especially children is wonderful to see. She is just going from strength to strength in her role as Queen.
