Princess Charlene of Monaco visited the Collège Charles III to participate in the selection of a rugby jersey designed by students. This project was conducted by the Princess Charlène Foundation of Monaco in close collaboration with the Monegasque Rugby Federation. Esteves Marques Alfonso, a student from Year 4, won the competition, and his jersey design will be worn by the Impis U16 team for the rugby 7s tournament in Dubai in December.

  1. Well, wonderful for her! She looks happy, healthy, lovely, engaged and enjoying herself. Fashion-wise, she looks nice and appropriate for the occasion, although I find the color palette to be more mid-spring and mid-autumn. This hairstyle softens her face so much, looks lovely and is more versatile overall.

  10. This has to be the best set of photos I have seen of Princess Charlene. She looks happy, engaged and confident. She doesn't have that frozen smile seen so often before. Also, I like her hair and overall appearance. It's an amazing transformation after what she has been through health-wise. To me, she is an inspiration for those who have been through difficult times.

    1. Your comment say what I was thinking.
Since her return and after her long illness, she has morphed into a beautiful confident contented woman. Long may it continue.Charlene is a shining example of overcoming adversity!
I hope we see her on more of a global stage as we do other European royal ladies.

  16. What a fresh and beautiful and happy set of photos. Do wonderful to see. The suit and blouse are lovely. I'd love to see her in slightly less traditional footwear but that's a very personal quirk.

  21. Absolute perfection!!! This suit is beautiful and so well fitted. The blush pink is so flattering to Charlene's complexion that she looks radiant. Finally, her hair is gorgeous! I love this new softer style and the side part--both highlight her beautiful face and cheekbones. I would also say that her health and happiness are radiating here--these are natural things that add to anyone's appearance and I am so happy for her and her family.

  22. The cut of the pants is superb, and the soft pink is a lovely change for Charlene. However, imo the stiffly tailored jacket, with its padded shoulders (the last thing a woman with broad shoulders needs), is unflattering, and the masculine-looking shirt buttoned up to her chin adds to a harsh, unfeminine effect. I’d love to see Charlene try a collarless jacket with dolman sleeves for a more relaxed silhouette, one which would coordinate better with those beautiful trousers. — Jane
