Nordic Royals Attend the 25th Anniversary of Nordic Embassy Complex

Representatives from the five Nordic countries and the host country Germany jointly celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Nordic Embassy Complex in Berlin. Also attending the celebration were the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and Elke Büdenbender, the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, and his wife, Suzanne Innes-Stubb, the President of Iceland, Halla Tómasdóttir, and her husband, Mr. Björn Skúlason.

The Nordic Embassy Complex in Berlin opened in 1999, following the city's designation as the new capital after Germany's reunification. Berlin is the only place in the world where the embassies of all five Nordic countries are co-located.

  1. Best dressed: Victoria ( and her husband): a classic jacket with skirt like her mom often wears: always good! In a nice colour too!

  18. I fail to chose a best dressed here, they are all stunning in their own ways, and styles. I always prefer a coat with a colar, so this is the only quibble I have about Mary's outfit, part from that I love the colours and the shapes. Victoria has one bow too many, but part from that, lovely and elegant. And Mette-Marit is very autumn elegant in her ensemble as well, however a more bold headpiece would have been even better. Nice idea to put all the Scandinavian embassies together!
