Crown Princess Elisabeth turns 23 today. The Belgian Royal Palace has released new photos to mark her 23rd birthday. Elisabeth, Princess of Belgium and Duchess of Brabant, was born in Anderlecht on October 25, 2001. She is the first child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. Princess Elisabeth is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Public Policy at Harvard University’s Kennedy School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the United States.
BA&SH Flace cardigan and Flame midi skirt
La princesse est ravissante dans l'association de ce cardigan porté sur cette jupe dans le même style ; pourquoi donc porter des bottes ?! Bon et joyeux anniversaire à elle !
ReplyDeletePourquoi pas ?
DeleteBoots are fashionable, and often integral part of a modern look.
DeleteIt is cold in Boston. Notice the yellow and golden colors of the leaves, it is too cold for the leaves and they are dying. Elisabeth probably put her coat on as fast as possible after the photographer was done taking photos. Christine
DeleteIn Belgium the leaves are golden and yellow too, but it was 22°C this afternoon and the days before it was 16-17-19 degrees C, warmer than many days during last Spring and Summer. We are in the middle of a climate change and we can expect anything. A couple of years ago it was very dry during Summer and the leaves on the trees became yellow and brown and the trees lost all their leaves because they couldn't take enough humidity from the soil. Golden and yellow leaves are not a sign of cold weather anymore like it used to be.
DeleteIt is fall, and that means boot weather. It doesn't need to be cold to wear them. It is all about fashion. Some of us are anxious to wear our fall and winter clothes, but it is still too warm.
DeleteThat part of the country is known for the beautiful change of color to the leaves in autumn. It is due to shorter days and colder temperatures (though the temperatures are still mild this year), that shut down the production of chlorophyll in the leaves. The chlorophyll is responsible for the green color, and when the production slows, the leaves reveal the gorgeous red, orange, and yellow in the leaves. While we all see the leave change, it is nothing compared to the show that the trees in New England display. It is very fitting for her to have this photoshoot walking through the leaves to commemorate her time in Boston. She looks amazing!
Wow - fun, fashionable and fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to CP Elisabeth.

Yes Wow!!! Happy birthday to the crown princess of Belgium
DeleteYeah ! It looks like the weather is still warm there too. I love CP Elisabeth's skirt and top by ba&sh. A very lovely outfit for the fall. She looks gorgous with the boots. Happy Birthday your highness ! From a Belgian fan.
ReplyDeleteMy son is actually in school in Boston (not at Harvard) and it has been very mild there for this time of year - about 16 degrees celcius in the afternoons. But the cold and snow will be there next month, inevitably. The Princess looks like she is enjoying herself!
DeleteWhat a body! The best of all the Royal women.
ReplyDeleteLovely - and the way she styled it with suede boots works better than with leather ones on the model.
ReplyDeleteJoyfull, elegant

23 not 19! She was born 10/25/01
DeleteBest proof that many people on this blog don't even read the title on top of the pictures.
DeleteShe looks stylish and fashionable, a beautiful lady and princess. Happy Birthday.
