French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, are making a three-day state visit to the Kingdom of Morocco at the invitation of King Mohammed VI. President Macron and Brigitte Macron were welcomed by King Mohammed VI and members of the Moroccan Royal Family, including Princess Lalla Meryem, Princess Lalla Hasna, Princess Lalla Khadija, Princess Lalla Asma, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, and Prince Moulay Rachid at the King's residence in the capital, Rabat.
The ladies are looking lovely; Mrs. Macron red coat is pretty. Princess lalla Khadija has grown to a be a beautiful princess. 👑
ردحذفI think Princess Khadija resembles her mother, Princess Lalla Salma. it's hard to tell from the photos if Khadija inherited her mother's beautiful red hair. I miss Princess Lalla Salma and I wish her well.
حذفShe truly has grown, I can’t believe she is only 17.
حذفI agree with you Judy, but I guess it is to be expected now she is a private person since the divorce.

What great fashion again. Brigitte Macron looks great in red. The Moroccan RL look spot on. But they always look fantastic. Is the King alright? He looks frail OMO. But it is nice to see them. Also, no language barrier, Marocco is a French speaking Country.

In Marocco they learned French when they where a colony. French is their second language. They speak Arab or Berber (Berber is the language of the common people especially those who earned their money with raising sheep and goats). Maroccon people who are living in my town they speak Berber with their family. Those who are raised in the Brussels region speak their language and French because they have been at school in French. A lot of them who are raised in Antwerp and Mechelen are speaking perfectly Flemish (they went to Dutch/ Flemish speaking schools) and of course their own language with their family.
حذفNote : I don't know if the way I spelled Arab and Berber is correct in English.
A bit longer than Brigitte usually wears: much better. Lovely redcoat, but It should be closed.

ردحذفShe wears a wig 👩
حذفits a wig
حذفIt is a wig.
حذفI do admit I never liked her wig.
حذفIt's not a wig. Can we please stop this bs. Is this also a wig? https://imgproxy.amomama.fr/k1Nvvf1byCejijENO2o9qg5ovfvRr6byQbTmv8RSuBA/rs:fill:992:0:1/g:no/aHR0cHM6Ly9jZG4uYW1vbWFtYS5jb20vMDk4OTI0MTMwOGFiNjVjNTMxNWViN2NlNmM1OTE3MTQ0NzY0NzgxNTU0MTAxOTA0LnBuZz93aWR0aD05MDAmaGVpZ2h0PTUyNw.jpg
حذفMarocco has a royal family?
ردحذفQuelle drôle de question ?!
حذفGuess what - yes!
حذفDo we know BTW what happened to the King's wife?
ردحذفI'm afraid we don't know.
حذفShe has not been seen in public since their divorce, which is sad.
حذفKing Mohammed and Lalla Salma got an divorce. She then settled elsewhere in the Mediterranean, but the children visit her regularly (before you ask where I know this from - there had been several reports with photo evidence about it making the rounds in Europe. You might need to be able to read French or German, on occasion, for such information). Lalla Khadija resembles her mother quite significantly.
حذفI believe she spotted on the Greek island of Mykonos this past July? There is an Instagram video of her walking with her children and body guards.

حذفPictures of Lalla Salma + articles have been published in my Belgian digital newspaper (which is in Dutch) and probably also in the regular press of The Netherlands. They have probably been publications in Spanish newspapers too, who are known for having lots of information about the royals.
Would love information on the marble fountain in the last photo.
ردحذفWell it is what it is a fountain. I think it might be in onyx instead of marble. Typical for Maroccon and Andalousian (South of Spain) houses they have fountains and water basins in the patio (an interior garden) where they keep plants in pots. The water brings freshness into the houses during the hot season.
حذفBrigitte Macron is always impeccable imo.
ردحذفMme Macron looks lovely in her red outfit. I love seeing Princess Lalla Khadija--she is very pretty just like her mother, Lalla Salma. Lalla Salma had such glorious red hair and was always so beautifully dressed. Perhaps we will get to see more of the Princess during this visit.

I don't think so. Since their divorce she does not live in Morocco any more. Since then she has been spotted every where a bit, but mainly in the mediterranean region.
حذفGood comment, agree with you.
