Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck visited Australia, accompanied by Queen Jetsun Pema, their children Prince Jigme Namgyel and Prince Ugyen, and Princess Sonam Yangden. The trip to the cities of Sydney, Canberra, and Perth in Australia aimed to further strengthen the diplomatic ties between Australia and Bhutan. Notably, Perth is home to the largest Bhutanese population in the southern hemisphere.
During their visit, the King and Queen of Bhutan met with Australian government officials, business leaders, and the Bhutanese community. The meetings with the King and Queen took place on October 12 in Sydney, October 13 in Canberra, and October 16 in Perth.

ReplyDeleteOh my that little Princess Sonam is so adorable--and she sure does love her daddy! The Bhutanese royals are such a beautiful family--not just physically but their closeness and love is so apparent.

The queen looks nice, although I prefer when she wears more vibrant colours. The princess dresses are so pretty and I like the sweaters. The boys are very charming in their outfits. And the king seems to be such a benevolent man. Did not know of the Bhutanese population in Australia. Beautiful family working for their country
