King Charles and Queen Camilla concluded their four-day tour of Samoa with a special visit to Siumu Village. On the final day of their royal visit, the King and Queen attended a farewell ceremony held in the village of Siumu, a twinned village to the UK. Villages around the Samoan capital, Apia, are twinned with each of the 56 member states of the Commonwealth. At the ceremony, the King was honored with the chiefly title of To’aiga-O-Tumua by the village’s high chief. After the visit, the King and Queen boarded their plane home.
The queen looks tired, but being stoic even with tears in her eyes. Love the fan
ReplyDeleteOn the 4th picture it looks like Queen Camilla is crying and on the 5th picture her (beautiful) handbag has been photoshopped away.
ReplyDeleteFashionwise : I never thought she still had that apron dress.
Her handbag has been photoshopped out of the picture! A very amateur job, indeed.
DeleteThe handbag was not photoshopped, she appears to have the closed fan in her other hand.
Delete-B.
This is a good dress for QC.
ReplyDeleteIndeed she looks tired: the fan seems to be mult-purpose: for cool, for hiding unwanted expressions like giggling or yawning may-be too?
Nevertheless: they are doing great and it looks to me they received a warm welcome everywhere.
5th picture she is holding her fan, handbag not photoshopped out
ReplyDeleteShe looks wonderful and has done a marvelous job.
ReplyDeleteGreat of the Q showing tears humanity at work. I think they have done a great job. Both like to work together, supporting each other. Hope they will take a day or so off upon their return to the UK. Nice dress BTW.
