On October 19, 2024, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg attended the Red Cross' traditional medal presentation ceremony at the 'Al Seeërei' Cultural Center in Diekirch, Luxembourg. Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, who serves as President of the Luxembourg Red Cross, honored the volunteer blood donors of the Red Cross with medals. In total, 187 people were rewarded for their generosity and solidarity this year.
On October 18, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited the Lënster Lycée in Junglinster to congratulate the students who took part in the 'Bread of the Heart' project. In Junglinster, for the first edition of the initiative in Luxembourg, the bread donated by the company Jean-Marie & Joos was sold on May 23 for the benefit of the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess Foundation. The 'Bread of the Heart' (Pain du Coeur) initiative generally refers to social responsibility projects or community solidarity initiatives.
The pale blue suit is my favorite. Love the color of the red jacket but the big-shoulders are too much for GD. Natan blouse is meh.

ReplyDeleteThat was a rude and inappropriate comment, anon 01:47. I hope that Helen will delete it.
DeleteIn Europe we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving and rarely comment on others’ weight. I think Maria Teresa is a tremendously compassionate person and love seeing her engage with people on her visits. - Grace
DeleteWe are not discussing the weight of other people on this blog, just the way they are dressed.
DeleteIn Europe the turkey has to wait until Christmas. I think not many people are celebrating Thanksgiving unless maybe the expats from the US.
Wow, how rude you are!
DeleteNatan top looks okay, she seems to of found some styles that work well for her.
ReplyDeleteMT est toujours très souriante.
ReplyDeleteElle est pleine d'empathie avec ceux qui l'entourent.
Et je suis fan de sa 2nde tenue... j'adore tout plus le pantalon.... couleur, forme!
She is looking beautiful in the light blue suit.

Beautiful suit. Finally well dressed. Could have been perfect without the belt of the blouse
ReplyDeleteShe is functioning very well.
ReplyDeleteThe Steve McQueen jacket hás to be worn closed to see it’s good cut.
ReplyDelete@Anon 11:16 Wrong McQueen this time. It's Alexander, not Steve. If it was Steve it might have been a leather jacket on a motorbike :))

Please explain what you understand by a Steve McQueen jacket and where you see one?
DeleteI afterwards realized my mistake, sorry!
DeleteThe Duchess is beautiful in both suits, I especially like the silk top with the light blue pants suit.
ReplyDeleteMaria Teresa est particulièrement élégante dans l'ensemble bleu pâle ; le blazer rouge légèrement plus court sans être asymétrique aurait mieux convenu !
ReplyDeleteTwo really wonderful looks from the Grand Duchess! The black and red outfit is a simple but great style for her. And the red jacket is perfect for the Red Cross event. I love the blue suit! The soft blue is very pretty on her and I like the pairing of the Natan blouse with this suit. MT looks beautiful in both outfits.

McQueen like military shoulders, which are okay, but this jacket on this person is not the best. However I think she look nice in red. If you can’t have the jacket open the it is a poor design ..imo
ReplyDeleteI like both outfits, but the red blazer is my favorite. When she gets it right, she gets it right. This is one of the times, again.

I like the grey/light blue pant suit the best. The top by Natan has no draping on the shoulder like on the model, which is better for GD Maria Teresa. As much as I liked her in the red blazer when it was new, as much I think it does not look good now. Perhaps it should be styled with another blouse or shirt underneath. The neckline of the black top is too square. A V- neck or a round higher neckline would be more flattering.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous lady in red.
