A Chanel look is normally not bad, but so boring. It always reminds me of people that are in general very stiff. Queen Maxima is normally so vibrant. So this does not suite her personality.

  2. J'aime beaucoup la coupe de cette robe mais les rebords frangés me semblent superflus !

Neckline nor ( missing of) colour are doing Maxima any good.

    1. Me too : "strangely so" there's something about it that I like.
But if it wasn't Queen Max wearing it, I'm sure I wouldn't like it 😀

What a stylish outfit in the style of Maxima. The fringe adds a touch of cheerfulness to this ensemble. -Siri

I am surprised at the low neckline. Just an inch higher would have been far more appropriate.

  10. I love this dress and the fabric but the neckline would look better in a round shape.

  11. Sorry, I just don't like this outfit. It has dressing gown/robe vibes which the v neck and button through styling. The lack of colour does the lively and outgoing Queen Maxima no favours.

  12. Q.M. is so pretty in this very interesting dress. I wish she would have dressed it up a bit more by wearing her hair up and wearing an interesting necklace. But I think she looks beautiful.

Very pretty looking. Fits very well.

Btw… Neckline is no lower than so many of Letizia’s outfits, I don’t follow the comments.

Ok, I am not crazy about this - a little too busy. But I do love the occasional outfit that add fringe to the hem and appear a bit edgier.

Well--let's see...The style is beautiful for Queen Maxima, she has accessorized the dress well, and she looks great. My issue is this looks like a stadium blanket. It's the fringe that causes the look to dive into unpolished territory. I love that she added the belt to give the dress some fit because on the model I really see a stadium blanket. I get that the fringe is part of design element to give this dress a certain style--maybe a lean into fashionable flare. For me the fringe is the problem with the dress. Oh well--overall she looks really good despite the messy fringe.

Maybe a little color, would wake this design up a bit.

I love this dress on Maxima, and personally I love the fringes as it give that extra "thing" and interest to the dress that would have been a tad booring without them. Perfect in my eyes.

Stadium blanket look, plunging neckline, fringe on the bottom, not a good look.

I think this whole look is bad. The pattern on the dress is not attractive and the hemline reminds me of a rug. Of course, the usual bad hair...not for a person with the title of queen.
