  4. Oh dear--Victoria loves her floral prints. The style and fit of her dress is great but that print is way too busy for me. Two things she did 100% right--1) choose shade of blue to look good in photos with the Nigerian VP; 2) not wear hideous white boots like the model (anyone else thinking go-go boots or Nancy Sinatra?). As always blues are very flattering for Victoria and she's looking lovely here.

  6. Don't like this dress. Floral print is bold enough, so the style should have kept simple but there's too much going on with this dress. And 355€/sale 178€ for a polyester dress...never would buy it.

And although By Malina is the Swedish brand, they make their clothes in China (this dress was made in Guangdong Province, China).

Producing in China means higher profitability for brands, so who cares that local dressmakers in Sweden and other European countries more and more loose their jobs...

    1. I think it’s very good if we talk about fashion manufacture and ethics here too, thank you for raising this for us to learn and to discuss more - Grace

    2. It is simple since the last 2 or 3 years I never buy something which is labelled "Made in China".

    3. I've noticed that Victoria wears by Malina a lot and it feels nice that she support local brands.
I always thought that by Malina is Swedish, manufacturing their clothes in Sweden or in Europe at least. Turn out they manufacture in China. Great find, Marika!

And agree, this price for polyester dress...can not stand plastic materials, they make me fell itchy and overheated. There are better local options to be found.

  9. I think Victoria is one of the most attractive royals. She comes across as someone who takes her duties seriously and is genuinely interested in the wide range of issues that her role entails. You also get the impression that she's a warm, down-to-earth person. I've even had the pleasure of meeting her face to face on one occasion. However, I don't often like her fashion choices. She occasionally hits the mark, but more often than not, the choices are a bit auntie-like and not quite right for her body shape. I understand that Victoria uses a stylist, so I would recommend a change of stylist. -Siri

    1. Does she uses a stylist ? I never read from any of the queens and princesses that they use a stylist and which one for which queen or princess ? I wonder what kind of magazine or news paper is publishing these secrets ?

    2. Siri, what you say about Victoria is absolutely true. But I disagree as for her fashion choices. Being a passionate dress-wearer myself, I mostly like her outfits.
