On October 8, 2024, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium hosted a dinner at the Castle of Laeken for high school principals. The King and Queen welcomed 28 high school principals for an engaging discussion on youth education during the dinner at Laeken Castle.
Absolutely love Q. Mathilde's hair in these pix.
ReplyDeleteYes, agree. Doesn't her hair look so soft and natural, really lovely hairstyle.
DeleteNope
DeleteQueen Mathilde is wearing an 11 years old dress by Bernard De Poorter. The only fantasy is a stroke of (faux ?) fur at the hemline. She looks lovely and soft with her longer hair. I wonder if she will continue to let her hair longer or maybe it is just because there is the state visit to France next week and she will need to have one or two updo's.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up about the state visit to France Anon 17: 29.
DeleteI am looking forward to the fashion that will be on display including Mrs Macron who tends to scrub up wuite well.
Ravissante dans cette petite robe ; la reine Mathilde a laissé pousser ses cheveux en prévision de magnifiques chignons !
ReplyDeleteI’ve always liked this dress on Q. Mathilde. It’s a simple, flattering style but the trim at the hem is such a fun detail. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteQuelle belle et bonne reine que cette personne. Dévouée, répondant "toujours présente" et qui, jamais, ne se départit de son sourire. Le roi Philippe et le reine Mathilde sont de dignes représentants de la Couronne. Lorraine (Rose).
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde looks so elegant in this black dress. I love seeing the dress again too. I'm still having the same reaction I had the first time I saw it years ago--I still hate those feathers used as a trim. But the style of the dress overall is perfect for her.
ReplyDeleteJanet
These are feathers indeed, I thought it was a trim in (faux) fur. It was you I think who hated the feathers on Queen Maxima's dress too.
