On September 5, the Duchess of York attended The Perfect World Foundation Award Gala at Börsen in Gothenburg, Sweden. Each year, the event presents its honorary award to a public figure who has contributed to global conservation efforts. Singer Ellie Goulding has been announced as this year’s recipient of The Perfect World Foundation Award. The Duchess and Ellie are close friends. Their friendship dates back several years, with Sarah attending Ellie’s August 2019 wedding along with her daughters.
The Perfect World Foundation is a non-governmental organisation that raises awareness and supports efforts to prevent the global ecological crisis. The Perfect World Foundation was founded in the early 2000s and became an official non-profit organization in 2010.
The Duchess of York looks lovely. Her new svelte shape is enviable, and these kind of deep green colours perfectly compliment her red hair. She looks great in the gown though I don't much care for the sleeve drapery. Also the bodice doesn't seem to fit properly. Otherwise, she looks fantastic.

It is possible she rented the gown, which would explain the less than perfect fit. I think she looks wonderful. She has had many fashion missteps over the years. Lately, she has redeemed herself.
DeleteSlightly tight across the chest, but she always looks fabulous in green. I think she looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love Sarah and I'm so happy to see her out and about. The dress is very dramatic and elegant and I like the color. She looks very nice and pulled together.
ReplyDeleteI agree. This is one non working ex royal that I am always happy to see. It appears that she’s winning the battle with her weight again and doesn’t she look fantastic.

Hello Mary.
DeleteMe too, I love Duchess Sarah. She’s indefatigable.
She has ridden the rough with the smooth and she’s still up there smiling.
As much as some would like to, they just can’t knock her out.
Fashion wise, if you take into account the creases, lumps and bumps and weight them against the colour and style of the gown, I give a 9/10 mark.
Hope we see a lot more of dear Fergie.
She looks fantastic in this green gown, love the color. The fit looks a tad snug in the bust area, regardless, beautiful presentation.
ReplyDeleteWhile the darts in the dress are somewhat distracting, Sarah looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSarah looks wonderful here--and that deep green is a perfect color for her.

Lovely colour on her, not a fan of the sleeves, Evira vibes. As mentioned above perhaps it is a gown on loan so it can’t be tailored for a better fit in a few key areas
ReplyDeleteSarah I think has never looked so good and so well.
ReplyDeleteShe’s lost a lot of weight(that be through to her recent health issues and treatments)
The dress,is lovely. The color is a good choice.
I think most women who have lost weight feels that sense of feeling good and confident about themselves !
Let’s hope she’s now out of the woods!
Another win for Ozempic. Her hair and makeup are good. The dress is poorly fitted, probably rented
ReplyDeleteEish you okes are so obsessed ne!

DeleteLe vert de cette robe se combine parfaitement avec la couleur de ses cheveux ; j'aime beaucoup son style de coiffure !
ReplyDeleteShe looks fabulous. Great design, great material, great styling and most of all - a fantastic colour for her.
ReplyDeleteIt is a long time that we saw the Duchess of York looking so good. I like her hairstyle the way she has it now and the green color of the dress is looking very lovely on her. I hope that her health problems are under control and that she will recover completely.
ReplyDeleteHere Sarah did really well: nothing over the top, just very stylish: my compliments to her!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the 3 generations Swedish royalty: so lovely!
ReplyDeleteAnd then the warm welcome with Edward and Sophie: what a heartwarming atmosphere bring these Olympic Games: hope for the world!
You must have commented on another story on this blog, I do not see three generations of Swedish royalty, nor Edward and Sophie, nor anything to do with Olympics. The Title of this particular article/photos: The Duchess of York Attends The Perfect World Foundation Award Gala.

Fantastic choice of colour. The fit is slightly off in the bust area, but that is easy to overlook. I like the sleeves and the understated use of jewellery with the gown.

I think she looks just lovely in her green color gown that she seems to favor. I may catch hell for this comment but if she did not use a make up artist I would love to see what one could do to soften her look like making the eyebrows look not so heavy!
ReplyDeleteDo you enjoy taking risks FRITZHUGH ?
DeleteOn another site someone made the comment that it was a fancy dress party and Duchess Sarah came as a bat.
ReplyDeleteOut of respect to the Duchess 🧡, I didn’t smile and just clicked on.
And I ask my fellow bloggers not to read this, pretend you never saw it and just click on.
Thank you.
Ms deadeggs.
DeleteIs that one click or a double click?
@deadeggs. I did not read it as you asked.
DeleteBy the way, is your hair color blond?
@Anon 21:39. Why do you ask about the colour of my hair?
DeleteAre you trying to insinuate that I am not intelligent?
Lucky for you I’ve got thick skin and things like that don’t upset me.
Have a nice day.
