All three dresses are simple, pretty, and suitable to the purpose of the working events Sophie attended.

Bold colors look more professional, these prints are for church service or mother's day lunch

    2. @annonymous 18:59 to say bold colors are more professional is just plain rubbish, what if you do not prefer bold colors do you wear them anyway. Some say solid blazers or jacket with matching slacks looks more professional. I think you wear what you like and how and what is most important is how you carry yourself, your knowledge and if your are kind is what makes you professional!

  2. Good choices for the occasion/s.
But I wonder why 3 changes. Where they in the same day?
    Maybe high humidity problems.
My preference is for the Zimmermann dress.
Duchess Sophie has made at least 5 visits to African countries.
Along with her wardrobe team, I’m sure they know what is the ‘good, bad and the ugly’ when dressing for a tropical climate in an African country plus taking into account religion, culture etc.
Heaven forbid, ….I hope Duchess Sophie never executes the endless advice and comments she gets about the length of her skirts/dresses.
If she does, we’ll see her standing in a tiny mini skirt. 😀

  3. Entre ces trois robes, c'est celle en coton de Max Mara qui a mes faveurs !

Yes the dresses are pretty, but why so long ? There’s nothing wrong with her legs ! Just over knee length looks much prettier imo

  5. The Duchess is a pretty lady but these prints don’t add anything to her look. Solid color summer dresses would be so much better!

  6. All three dresses are "fine" without being exciting. My favourite by far is the Max mara one and no matter what the Duchess has on her feet it will be an improvement on what the model is wearing! The other two dresses are very pale, especially the first one and not necessarily the most flattering for the Duchess. Grand work she is doing in Tanzania.

The best of the three dresses is the Zimmermann dress. Since we cannot see her in full length, it will probably be too long. On the 6th picture her hair is looking a bit like Maxima's. In the other two dresses she is looking older than she is. Suzannah dresses are looking too much like house dresses, I've never liked them.

Love all 3 choices here! I also love how Sophie's choices show respect for her hosts--long sleeves and long dresses (yes I know Sophie tends to wear her dresses longer than what is shown on models) covering her just as the other ladies. Sophie looks lovely and the dresses were also perfect for the events she attending.
